I'm sort of new to understanding what gout really is, but I've been having symptoms of it for 15 years. As the condition advances there may be more foods you will have to either exclude from your diet or at least consume moderately. I have gout in my left knee and a big flare up would cause much damage. This occurred about a year ago and the only option I would consider was stem cell injection. This is very expensive and requires 3 to 4 months before the joint starts to feel better ie. some sort of cushion develops between the bones. So I'm very particular about what I eat. Purines are the main culprit here, but I'm not going to say they are the sole culprit. This product goes a long way to limit their effect. Lets say I eat some foods moderate in purine content like beans, oats, chicken or some types of fish. And I've eaten it over the course of a few days, so the uric acid levels build up inside the joint. There is a pressure that builds up in the joint...not a full blown attack, but pressure and maybe a slight pain. One milliliter of Uricel takes care of it in 20 to 30 minutes. Purines are present in lots of common everyday foods, not just rich foods high in cholesterol that most people associate with gout. So, you need to be mindful of this and use these types of products to manage it when it becomes a problem. Or you can use colchicine as prescribed by your doctor, but some doctors don't like to prescribe it because of the side effects. I have some, but have yet to use it. I prefer the holistic route and Uricel works for me so far. More often these days, I try to eliminate most foods containing moderate amounts of purine, so I don't use it every day. The chicken and fish is kind of hard cause your body does need protein and some fish have a higher purine content than moderate, so you want to avoid that altogether. Truly remarkable. I have had chronic ongoing gout flare-ups anywhere from every few weeks to several months apart for 4 consecutive years. I tried colchicine (Colcrys), Indomethacinine and Methlyprednisone. The last would help (with swelling/pain) within a matter 1-2 days but the former two gave me little if any relief and had me running to the bathroom. I was tired of the side effects. Did not know what was wrong with my second toe on my right foot and my middle finger on my right hand. Though I had arthritis . Went on a trip with kids and my foot really hurt bad all day long lots of walking. Came home and the problem just got worst. Did some research and thought I had gout. Had all the symptoms for gout. Start to take this 3 time a day start March 1 and it is March 6 2019 now and my toe feels so much better. I can bend it now were once I could not. It still a little swollen but getting so much better. My finger does not hurt at all. Will continue to use daily. If you have pain this stuff might help. it is helping me. update: 8/08/2019 still use everyday and my toe and hand are doing great. I have this on automatic refill each month. So Glad it worked for me. I increase my dose if I have been bad with drinking and too much rich foods. Seems to be working.

I tried Uricel as a" why not" resort because the medication that my doctor was going to prescribe was reviewed on Web Md as bad for the kidneys , and I have stage 3 chronc kidney disease. The Uricel has cleared the gout in my hands like a miracle! My hands were so bad that I was unable to function, I could not do anything with them The vunerable feeling of having this happen again is really bad. It took about 2 days for me to be able to move my fingers and then about a week to get to where I could function again. I took Uricel 2x day for a month, and was fine for a while , then the gout returned but not as bad, only 3 fingers were effected. Now I am starting another month . I feel bad, this company has asked me to review the product many times, but it just isn't my thing,(to write reviews) HOWEVER neither is having a gout attack!! I can't begin to express my gratitude for this product and this company. They have gone ABOVE and BEYOND EVERY TIME I order giving me complimentary bottles with the hopes that I would finally leave a review. Well now I am. In 2017 I suffered a pseudo gout attack in nearly every joint of my body. It was so bad I was paralyzed and bed ridden for 6 months. I started taking it after having hip replacement surgery and haven't had an outbreak since. I do also take Alluprurinol for prevention but that never completely stopped the attacks. I do get a tinge in my toes every now and then when I'm being naughty with my diet, but Uricel has kept me from having another attack. I really am forever grateful.
