Fabulous at covering gray - Orange undertones
Used it for covering my gray. I am 40%-50% gray with medium brown hair. Fabulous at depositing color after 10 minutes. The color has orange undertones so beware on lighter hair. You can see the undertone if you apply some of the product to your skin and then wipe it off. I have been testing several similar products: 1. Keracolor Clenditioner in Mocha - absolutely fabulous for my hair color. I wash my hair and then the next day I apply Keracolor Clenditioner the next day for 20 minutes and then rinse it out. Color lasts through a few washings. 2. Sorry, can't find my past order - I will try to find. Worked fabulous with cool burgundy undertones. I will try to find the name. If you are looking for this type of color it is available. 3. Sovoncare in Mocha - I just placed an order and will review with my product purchase.

Excellent.
This product is excellent. I’m a brunette going back to my natural hair color, and like many brunettes, I struggled with brassiness after dyeing—my hair would turn warm and slightly orange over time. I tried multiple blue shampoos, and honestly, none of them worked as advertised. This mask, however, is perfect. It tones down the brassiness and gives me a very natural-looking color—almost identical to my own hair. I’ve only used it three times so far, so I can’t say exactly how long the color lasts yet. One thing to note: it will stain your hands, so definitely use gloves. Also, if you have long or thick hair, I recommend buying two tubes because the packaging is quite small. The best part is that it doesn’t damage my hair at all and leaves it looking healthy and smooth while correcting the tone beautifully. It doesn’t cover gray hair, but it does an amazing job neutralizing yellow and brassy tones. Honestly, skip the blue shampoo—it was a waste of money for me. This works so much better. I love it.

Beautiful Shine and Rich Color Without the Damage
Absolutely loved this mask! It made my hair feel soft and healthy while giving my color a rich, refreshed look without looking overly heavy or artificial. The Caramel Glaze shade added warmth and shine, and the results were noticeable after just one use. Super easy to apply and my hair felt conditioned instead of dry afterward. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

Not the brown color I wanted but works well.
This was not quite the color I wanted (I have not yet found a gloss that actually gives a good brown color) but it does a nice job of providing a translucent color and shine to the hair but it was a golden red color on my hair. The pic is just after a fresh application and I do have a lot of gray naturally which this blends in well.

Tones better than purple shampoo
Works well to tone down the yellow. Mine didn't turn very lavender because my hair isn't very platinum, and because this isn't vibrant hair color like punky. It's more of a wash-out toner, IMO. But it cut out the yellow in my hair better than the purple hair masks. I'm keeping it to replace those. The smell isnt bad and it feels like regular conditioner. The pic on the left is before. It works much better directly on dry or damp hair than it does on wet hair in the shower.

DO A TEST STRIP IF YOU ARE BLONDE!!
This could be user error. I am new to being blonde however I used a different brand last week of the same type and had no issues. This turned a lot of my blonde strands purple! I had to wash my hair three times and now it’s so dry. I have had to have my hair soaked in coconut oil for the past eight hours. I’ve used this exact brand and type before except when I had firetruck red hair, and it never did me wrong like this. Matter of fact, it was one of my favorites that I used from time to time to touch up the ends with 10 volume added to it (NO ACTIVATING with this blonde kind now) or maybe that’s actually why it worked differently? I’m not sure, but be careful with this. I didn’t use a test strip like I usually do, because like I said, I have used this product before many times just a different color. So now I’m going to have to go pay for a crazy expensive hair treatment because I had to wash my hair was clarifying shampoo four times to get the purple out if you’re blonde do you know that means my roots are now stripped of the blonde pigment that should’ve been there for another month… what a hassle.. just be careful with this if you’re blonde… DO A TEST STRIP ON THE HAIR ABOVE THE NECK UNDERNEATH ON THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD. Maybe I left it on too long like I said when I use the red, I would throw it on saturated clean the house for like 3/4 hrs and then add the 10 volume to the ends for another hour and then wash it out. I never had any problems doing that…

Turned my gray hair orange.
11/4/25. I wanted to love this. I'm trying to take a break from coloring my hair, I'm 67 yrs old and thought this might help me through this transition of going gray since it's not permanent and washes out quick. While my hair is soft after using, it actually turns the gray hair an unwanted orange color. So the gray line around my face is now orange. My hair is thinning and fine and I had hoped this would give it more dimension . I'm not saying this is a bad product, it just isn't what I had hoped for. It didn't damage my hair at all and the ends are definately darker, enough so it covers the orange when styled, and the gray comes through again pretty quick, so if you are trying this method to get thru this awful transition, save your money. I would have given this a 4 but the orange!! UGH! I also want to add that like hair color, this product will help with shine and softness. I am predisposed to red hair, thanks to my Beloved Mother! Scottish heritage. So again, while I believe this is a good product, it just isn't the answer to my problem. One other thing, it's quite a process, you must first wash your hair, towel dry, and then apply this toner, wait ten minutes {or how ever long you prefer to have it on}, and then rinse it out. If I think of anything else to add, I will do an update.

Great at home maintenance
This is a genuine review and not have paid post . I wasn’t looking for a change in my hair. I got black box dye bleached out of my hair with a balayage over a year ago. The goal was to let my natural hair grow out with the slightest amount of line of demarcation from the black box die and highlights. My hair has grown about 6 inches down my head and as I’ve been in the sun, the highlights have gotten brighter. I wanted to tone down the highlights to make it more of a solid color and this literally did it perfectly. I started at my midshaft to end and then applied it to my natural hair color at my roots. Left it in for the full 10 minutes. Surprised as to how soft it actually made my hair. it did exactly what I was looking for and made my color so much richer. I might leave it in a little bit longer to get it just a little bit deeper, but I definitely suggest this to keep a pretty brown and got rid of some brassiness. The photo before is the one with my hand. Second photo is in sunlight third photo is inside.

Warm tone. Just what I wanted from this product
Used Golden Gloss. My grey is a very cold icy silver and dark grey. Very aging for me, but I'm done with block colour. I was looking for something non permanent that would just warm it through a little. I'm absolutely over the moon with the colour, very subtle on my dark grey bringing a warmer tone and has picked up some of the red I used to naturally have... so happy about that. The very white silver at the front and through the top has warmed into a light warm blonde. So very happy with the results. This will now be a a solid addition to my hair care routine.😊

Very happy with this product
Update: I was brave enough to use it full strength today and leave on for 10 minutes. I love the result! So natural looking and warmed up my fading red hair. I was so nervous to try this but I’m very pleased with the results. I used it for the first time last night. The first time I diluted it 1:2 with conditioner and left it on 5 minutes, the results were subtle. I then used it again with a 1:1 ratio of conditioner and left it on 8 minutes. It’s so natural looking and warmed up the roots of my hair that were looking faded. Next time, I plan to only dilute a little and leave on longer. I was afraid that my hair would look orange or unnatural but I’m so pleased with the results. You don’t need to dilute at all but this felt safest to me as I didn’t know what to expect.
