Excellent quality, but more care is needed with the packaging. The first package I received was wet due to the rainy season, and the sheets were damaged from the corners, making the entire set unusable. I had to request a replacement, and thankfully the second package arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the sheets are excellent, but greater attention should be given to packaging and handling.

One Star – Very Disappointed with Quality I purchased this watercolor paper in bulk (100 sheets) for my art class students, and unfortunately, the quality is extremely poor. The paper simply cannot handle basic watercolor techniques: • Fragile surface: Even with a light wash, the paper tears apart. When erasing pencil marks, the top layer of the paper comes off. • No vibrancy: Watercolors appear dull and patchy, with no brightness or clarity. • Poor water handling: The paper cannot take more than one brush stroke. Adding a little extra water or layering colors makes the surface clumpy, uneven, and unusable. • Not suitable for learning: Students struggle because the paper itself fails before they can even practice properly. This was a bulk purchase meant for classroom use, but now I regret buying it. Definitely not recommended for anyone who wants to do watercolor painting—even beginners will be frustrated.

Pro: The watercolours mix well. The paper is bright. It can hold a decent amount of water. Cons: The paper buckles for wet washes. The paper has no strength, is soft, and will fold on itself. The surface is soft with loose fibers. The surface of the paper tears off with masking tape! I would stay away from this paper unless you know what you are doing. Overall, poor value for money.

Thus is quite different from other 300gsm watercolor papers. The water and pigment get stuck and absorbed at the point or region of application. The paper is somewhat like a blotting paper.
