Doesn't fit & seller didn't give me enough time to return it for a refund
This steering stabilizer is actually so fat that it doesn't fit as a replacement for the original (which is much thinner). There literally is no space for it. And the seller gave me so little time to return it for a refund after I advised them I wanted to return it, the link they sent me to print out the return label expired before I had a chance to print it. Now they won't let me return it and I have just lost $60. BEWARE!

Bolts up to a WJ 4.0L no problem (stiffens the steering considerably though)
Haven't had a chance to give the Jeep a good run yet (installed in a non-specified WJ) and with the included hardware, was no hassle install. Everything about it seems quality even at it's price but until I run it a bit I wont know the longevity of it (a common problem with using the proper sized steering dampers on jeeps) It did stiffen up the steering considerably on the WJ just in case anyone else has the bright idea to use something beefier than factory. I'm running a mild lift on 32's so will follow up with that in mind.

2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ perfect fit.
UPDATE: The pronounced bump steer I have been experiencing since I bought the Jeep has all but gone. I believe this to be a result of installing the new stabilizer. had expected a generic gray stabilizer b/c many reviews said that is what showed up. I am happy to report the shock that was delivered was exactly as described and included all the hardware I would need to install. It even came with the Rough Country sticker, which is a very nice touch. The unit itself is solid, more so that the OEM factory one I removed, which had given up the ghost. It was a bit of a struggle to remove the old one, despite liberal PB Blaster and BFH applications. The trick I found was to use a CAN$19.99 Pitman arm puller from Canadian Tire. That did the business in minutes. I reused the original frame-side bolt and nut but the supplied bolts were more than adequate for the other end with the locking washers and nuts. All high quality. I torqued both bolts to 50 f/lbs, and it's solid as a rock. It looks really nice with the Rough Country logo, and performs considerably better than the factory one. As another reviewer mentioned it doesn't return to center quite as fast as the stock one, but it's still very early days and I expect it to bed-in/settle as I use it. I am very pleased and it's great bang for the buck. Shipping was next day, so no complaints there either. Note I did *not* have Jeep death wobble, and if I did this would not fix it - just mask it at best. If you are thinking this will make your death wobble issues disappear, it won't. Period. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase, and will happily recommend it to any TJ owners that are thinking of an upgrade or a replacement.
