It's unsweetened (be careful when shopping has many sweetened brands) The powdered milk in the tea makes it very slightly sweet. I like strong tea so when I make my morning thermos of tea for work I use two bags of PG Tips and one package of Quik Tea. Gets me up and going! Mild and smooth This tea’s flavor is mild and isn’t bitter. I have not had other teas like this, so I can’t compare. However it is smooth and comforting. I add more cardamom powder myself, which I enjoy doing to other teas anyway, and I think this is my favorite combo so far. I’m very happy with this tea. Yum! This tea tastes so good. It has become my comfort tea and is starting to replace my extra coffees of the day. Best value chai tea bags I love this. Assam tea is a wonderful base and the cardamom adds a lovely chai flavor. It’s a great value for the money too, I bought two boxes. If you want more of a chai flavor, I add 1/6th scoop of chai latte powder to it, a small amount of almond milk, a few drops of vanilla syrup, and top it off with some powdered cloves, pumpkin spice, and allspice.
