Cons- *Food can get stuck in the curly-ness of the steel and is difficult to remove. *Doesn’t hold shape- after about a week the shape becomes this big sloppy thing. Manageable but wish it held more shape. *Not sold in larger quantities.

Listen, I love my husband, but when he offered to make his "famous" honey-soy glazed chicken last Tuesday, I should have checked his references. I don't know what happened in that kitchen while I was walking the dog, but he somehow managed to fuse a solid inch of carbonized sugar and poultry despair to the bottom of my good, expensive stainless steel skillet. I used regular sponges, which instantly shredded themselves in sacrifice upon contact. I tried boiling water. I tried baking soda and vinegar. I tried whispering sweet nothings to it. I ordered the 16-pack because, looking at the charred remains of my cookware, I assumed I’d have to burn through at least five of them just to find the actual bottom of the pan again. Plus, this way at least 5 can go missing in the back of my cabinet and I won't even notice. Y'all. I barely even had to put my back into it. This little metal miracle sliced through the burnt teriyaki cement like it was hot butter. In less than five minutes, my skillet was shining so bright I could see my own amazed reflection in it. Even better, the scrubber didn't scratch up my pan, and it rinsed totally clean afterward instead of unraveling into a rusty bird's nest like the cheap off-brand ones do. I kept the pan. I only use these scrubbers. It is amazing how one swift wipe and so much of stuck on stuff disappears down the drain. Best on pots and land that are no Teflon, is that isn't obvious.

These plus some elbow grease, work great. I cleaned several months of crud from our toaster oven with one. Cleaned our turtle’s aquarium with another. I enthusiastically recommend these.

These used to be in every grocery store and now I can't find them. The dollar-store versions are half the weight and size (these are full-size, weigh about 50 grams each). No signs of rust. I only wish they came in smaller packets as we have enough now to last into the next decade.
