I liked that it charged the battery and doesn't miss a beat.

Works great, but...
Great, but I had issues. I was about a month away from my warranty period and the shaft wore out to the point that it just spun in the pulley. Custom service was a little cumbersome to work with, but they honored it in the end and sent me a new one. It's been good since.

Very bad product
I bought 2 of these starter/generators. The first one I installed a year ago. It lasted 6 months than burnt up. The second unit was installed a month ago on a different golf cart and the armature exploded. It also overheated. These are very cheap built units I've been working on golf carts for 15 years now

Low quality
Apparently poor quality. Lasted in golf cart for less than one season (maybe 12 hours driving time) Original part lasted for many years, and this replacement lasted for less than one. Would not recommend. Response from seller was “there is no guarantee” even though the description says 1 year hassle free warranty

Blew Apart!
Lasted 4 months and literally blew apart while driving. Copper parts flying out. when you try to get warranty support the web site doesn't work. supposed have a 1 year warranty. Garbage product. Go OEM only!!!
