RDWL311A2000 Series 3 Doorbell Portable Wireless Doorbell & Push Button

I love this doorbell. You can use it as a portable or mount it on the wall. I mounted mine up high in my front hallway and it is loud enough to hear in my bedroom (my apartment is 1100 sq.ft.). The size is small, so it is less obtrusive. I purchased a second pushbutton for my back door. The only 'glich' I had in the installation was that the bell does not work through a brick wall, so I had to mount it on my screen door in the back, and then it worked fine. The front door pushbutton was mounted on the door frame. The pushbuttons feel sturdy when pressed. It was easy to set up. I used the chimes for the front door and the bell sound for the rear.

Believe it or not I bought this for my son’s bedroom and it’s awesome. No plug in on his part so no complaining that I’m occupying one of his valuable outlets. It also offers a few smooth ring tones. The agreement is, when you hear the chime you come see what mom needs so mom doesn’t have to keep calling you! It works like a charm!!!!

I was looking for a two door solution at a good price. This seems to fit the bill.instructions are a bit thin, but setting it up was fairly simple. As far as I can tell, it does not have motion detection or volume control, nor was it supposed to. I was not looking for any motion detection, but volume control would be a useful feature.

I bought the cheapest one — the one that’s $24.99 — because I came across an advertisement for it, and I didn’t know there were a few different models. I installed it, and it works very well, but my complaint is that it’s far too loud for me. My apt. is only 830-ish square feet, and I’m not hard of hearing. So I’m about to switch it out for the one that’s $0.60 more and has adjustable volume and a couple more chime options. But again, it works very well - Love that it includes foam tape for the button, because I probably wouldn’t be allowed to drill into the outside door frame here in my apt. The speaker is basically one and a half or two rooms away from the button, so signal strength seems to be great. So far so good!

I bought this product to replace the same doorbell that I had. I had thought mine it was no longer working because the batteries were not run down, but the it would not ring when the button at the door was pushed. When I opened the new one, I found that the button itself has a lithium battery. I put a new battery in mine , and it worked. So I returned the one I had just received. It's a really lovely doorbell!! I has a choice of ring tones, and a volume that you can select.

I love that this is truly portable and wireless. The door bell chime box takes 4 AA batteries and can be mounted to the wall or left alone to sit on a shelf so it can be picked up and taken with you to another part of the house. I only gave 4 stars because it's not quite as loud as I had hoped and if you choose the regular "ding dong" sound it's not very long and you may not hear it. Otherwise it's great and took a few min to unbox and setup. UPDATE 11/26/17: I find that 90% of the time when someone rings the doorbell it does not work! You have to push and hold till the button turns red. How would someone know that when they come to the door? I’m not putting a sign outside my door that says how to push the doorbell that’s for sure...so most people just tap it and wait for me and nothing happens and I’ll just hear them knock eventually. Unreliable and annoying.

I purchased this to replace the wireless doorbell that has quit working multiple times this year. This Honeywell doorbell was so easy to install, looks great next to the front door, and sounds great. It only has four chime options and no volume control (only one volume setting), but that doesn't bother too much unless it goes off while you're holding the receiver. We have the receiver on a shelf in the middle of the house rather than mounted on the wall, but it came with a screw and anchor to hang it if we want to. We may consider setting up a second button for the back door in the future (instructions make it seem pretty simple to do this). Will update this review after winter to speak to it's weatherproofing/cold-tolerance.

Bought this to use as an alert system for my recently blinded brother, and it works great! All he has to do is push the button and the doorbell rings, we know he needs assistance. It’s working throughout the house and even from the unattached garage. The tone is great, just the right sound to carry through the house but not loud enough to blast you out of your seat.

Lo bueno: es fácil de instalar, colgar (con cinta doble cara) y de operar. La marca es inmejorable y la calidad indiscutible. Lo malo: solo tiene 4 tonos, no se le pueden agregar más, y no tiene control de volumen (¡es altísimo!). Tiene varias funciones interesantes que no he explorado, como el "secret knock" así que por lo poquito que pagas te llevas mucho. Lo portátil es un plus aunque tengas que usar baterías. Hasta ahora me han durado un mes sin problema.

I bought this for my 92 year old mother for Christmas as her previous doorbell stopped working and she couldn't hear anyone knocking on the door. (Right beside her chair!). I was hesitant as I wasn't sure it was going to be loud enough for her, but it is. It's loud and clear even with the TV blaring. It's very compact with it fitting in your hand. (Much smaller than expected, but don't let the size fool you.) It couldn't be any easier to set up and she's thrilled with this awesome doorbell. I hope it lasts for a long time. (The previous one of another brand only lasted a little over a year.) I highly recommend this doorbell.

Buen sonido y buen alcance, el único detalle es que el volumen es fijo y no se puede modular, además de que solo tiene un tono, por todo lo demás es resistente y funcional mejor que otros timbres que he tenido.

Great product! So easy to install, it literally took me a few seconds. Simply use the adhesive that comes in the package, stick in back of doorbell and choose your location! I love that the "speaker" can be hung on the wall or can be placed anywhere and still look good, multiple sound settings can be chosen. I live in Northern canada where it can get very cold, anxious to see if the adhesive will hold!

Muy buen producto, lo instalé sin problemas y el volumen es suficiente, lo que no me agrado es que en solo unas semanas el alcance se redujo considerablemente
