L’Oreal Paris Colorista Metallic Semi Permanent Hair Color for Bleached or Blonde Hair, Color Depositing Hair Mask Formula, Metallic Blue

My son wanted to dye half his head blue. This was just enough product for that. He has short but very thick hair. Some parts were dark but that is because the bleaching was uneven. His natural color is jet black and this came off a nice bright blue. It stained literally everything. It was more so from him not washing it all out properly after the application. It's a blueish green now but he still likes it. I would definitely buy again but I would likely look for a larger size.

Best blue in the game by far!! I have been strictly using this dye for my blue ever since I first tired it, the fade out does let turn green, color lasts l, I reapply when I need to touch up my roots once a month.

I got the metallic blue. It looks just like the model and what other reviewers have posted. But the L’Oréal app was very wrong about the prediction. Also, the directions don’t say if it’s okay to wash and condition your hair after application. The last step just says “rinse”. This stuff will stain your hands pretty much any time you touch your hair while it’s wet. I wish the instructions said to wear gloves 🧤 each time you wash/condition your hair, at least the first few times. The kit comes with 3 sets of gloves. 1 tube was enough for half my head. I have very thin, very curly hair (3C). My hair was blonde, strawberry blonde, and light blue (bleaching over indigo/henna). The color is very pigmented and vivid, making my tri-color bleached hair look more uniform. My hairline and scalp got stained, not to mention my sink. But my sink is blue, so not such a big problem. I didn’t follow the directions and didn’t apply petroleum gel or conditioner to my hairline prior to dyeing it. Although the product can stain, once the water rinses clear (after you wash/condition it), it doesn’t seem to 💧 drip blue. So basically there is only dye transfer (wet hair) if you really press it with a towel or your fingers. So far, I haven’t had an issue with sweat releasing the dye. I left the product for 1 hour on dry hair, that had conditioner and oil left in it 2 days prior. I recommend using the supplied brush and you find a disposable mixing bowl to paint the product on so you don’t stain your scalp.

I’ve had blue hair for a long time and have tried all different brands of dye and this one works great! The color is beautiful and vibrant! I got the metallic blue and it looks beautiful! I made a little mess in the sink but I sprayed it with bleach cleaner and it came right off, no issues. It does stain your skin but I used face wash (cerave sa cleanser) to get it off. I definitely recommend this dye!

Color is super vivid, super cute, but holy crap I hope you're dedicated because I don't think this is actually semi permanent whatsoever. This WILL NOT get out of your hair. I've struggled with blues before but NEVER like this... If you're looking to have it for a longggg time, baby go for it this is the one for you! If you're frequently looking for change, I would go with another brand maybe.... Artic fox... Or manic panic might I recommend... Because this is NOT A SEMI.

Bought this on sale for $2 honestly wasn’t expecting much. And was pleasantly surprised! First pic and video is from the day of, braided hair pic is a month later (with glitter gel), and Mohawk picture is 2 months later. Color still going pretty strong.

Good vibrant colour. Made my daughter's hair softer aswell but it doesn't like to come out easily lol took MONTHS to fully get it out of my daughter's hair.

My hands, face and neck were blue for two weeks, everything around me was blue too. My shirts were blue, my pillows were blue, my shower was blue. It depends on the shade, but I wouldn't get this blue

The colour was nice, but it was everywhere, it just needed to survive a 1 hour ordeal and even that was asking too much, it was all over my neck, back, clothes, hands you name it. I thought I'd try this brand rather than my usual and yeah... not impressed and will be going back to "other brand". =(

The colour is beautiful but after 21 days, by hair is still colouring my shampoo lather bright blue and if I scratch my head, my fingernails are stained and it does not wash off easily. Say goodbye to your pillow case as well. That being said, my hair is still as vibrant as the day I dyed it.
