LOVE LOVE LOVE these!
I am so pleased with these reusable pouches. My 8 month old son loves to eat purees from these, with help of course. These are the best bang for your buck is what I would argue. Purees are super easy to make with pretty much whatever you have, and I add a little bit of lemon juice to keep them fresh for longer if I am keeping them in the fridge. These also freeze great and thaw well with minimum leakage. I also really appreciate how there is the ability to write the date and contents with a white board marker and how it stays on!I was assuming it would rub off really easily from water on accident, but surprisingly it took some rubbing to actually remove the writing. My only complaints would be that the fill line should be a little bit lower. I would fill it to that line and then when I would close it, it would overflow. Other than that, fun designs, great quality, easy to fill, seals really well, great for on the go, and easy to clean(as easy as rinsing and sticking it in the dishwasher!). Would highly recommend to any parent moving forward with solid food and purees.

The BEST!
I don’t know why people complain it’s messy. These are the EASIEST products EVER! First, I’d suggest watching a couple of the review videos and watching how some fill these. Squeezing at the top of the pouch (where the lid is) and, with the other hand, simply press the zipper end shut. The BEST PART it’s a sealed pouch with no air. Second, I use a wooden spoon inserted into the zipper pouch and turn it sideways while it dries. Perfect! I use a small bottle brush with a soft cloth tip to clean the pouches. I also do not let them dry out. If I can’t rinse it right away, I put the lid back on, keeping it moist until I can rinse and wash. I bought the whole system for making baby food. Talk about messy! The entire system would need cleaning, and the pouches it comes with are disposable, creating more waste. These pouches do fit the food machine if you fold up the bottom. In my opinion, these pouches are easy, quick, and efficient when compared to the baby food system. Furthermore, who wants to CLEAN all those parts after making food? Not me. I blend frozen and fresh food in my Vitamix and pour the food into these pouches. Zip close, rinse the end off, and BAM! Done. Simple. Easy! And the toddler LOVES them. No more go-go applesauce pouches, woohoo! I bought one set of these reusable pouches and will purchase two more! They also freeze smoothies very well! No leaks. I use less liquid when making the smoothie pouches, so I tend to spoon in the smoothie. Too much liquid does turn the smoothie pouch into a liquid mess if the child is a squeezer or wags their hands about. So, takeaways: put the lid back on if rinsing can’t be done immediately; it’s not as messy as people say. It’s sorta an art to fill-easy peasy! Tip: Let the frozen food defrost first and then blend using less liquid than an actual smoothie would require. If you like efficiency, like I do, these are a must-have! The ONLY thing I have to say that’s somewhat negative is there are no replacement lids. I keep them in ONE SPOT so we don’t lose one. I haven’t found replacement lids yet. Best purchase!! And $AVE$ MONEY! Plus the BONUS: less mess and cleaning!!😉❤️ UPDATE: it’s June 2025, I purchased two sets in 2023 and we’re still using those same two sets. We have misplaced and broke a couple. For the PRICE, these were and still are a GREAT PRODUCT for the value! I’ve introduced these to moms, even with teens, because of the convenience of use. I’ve even used them for myself because it’s a space saver when traveling and makes packing smoothies for the road, easy peasy. Oh, and the wooden spoon trick was only needed in the beginning because the pouches stay open after being used.

Great for making healthy snacks!
These are great! We go through a lot of pouches with twins, so I decided to make our own to save money. Store bought pouches snacks range from 87 cents for Parents Choice at Walmart, and about $2.50 a pouch for fancier brands at Target. Pouches are great because you can pack a lot of nutrients in one easy to feed snack! This also has the added benefit of controlling your ingredients. I made overnight oats with: 1 c sprouted oats from One Degree Organic Foods 1 c almond milk 1/2 c plain Greek yogurt 1 ripe banana 2 Tbsp chia, hemp, flax mix from Badia Trilogy Approx 1 tsp vanilla extract Sprinkle of cinnamon Next time: squirt of lemon juice to help banana stay fresh for longer I think this made 5 pouches? They lasted a couple of days, but I did not use them all because the banana started to smell like it had seen better days. Next time I will add lemon juice. The pouches were easy to clean. Before first use, I sanitized using the top rack of our dishwasher. After that, hand wash in the sink. The zipper bottom made things wide enough that they were easy to load, and the bag quality seems to hold up through multiple uses. My twins are aggressive eaters, but so far the pouches have not burst open, so it seems like a pretty good seal. The babies are 10 months old and very enthusiastic eaters, they can usually eat quite a bit, but the ingredients listed above are pretty filling so they finished about 3/4 of each pouches.

Great for homemade baby food with minor cleanup effort
These Simple Modern reusable baby food pouches are a great option for families who make their own purees. They’re sturdy, easy to fill, and perfect for storing and serving homemade food on the go. We love being able to control the ingredients while reducing waste from disposable pouches. The only downside is cleaning—food can sometimes get stuck in the corners, so it takes a little extra effort to fully wash them out. That said, the quality and convenience make them well worth it. Overall, a great reusable option for homemade baby food.

Awesome! 👏🏼
Very nice product. Easy to use, held up being thrown into the diaper bag, cleaned well. I will order more if I ever have the need.

10/10 recommend
Let me just say, I love these! Not only do they have cute designs, but they feel sturdy and even the cap is great quality. I needed these because my baby loves eating out of the pouch and she has a patch of eczema that gets irritated when when try to spoon feed her due to the amount of food that gets all over her face. These are great for homemade baby food or even just transferring food from the glass jars. For reference you can store a whole standard jar of baby food into the pouch with some spave, so about 5 ounces give or take probably. I also love the amount of these you get for the price. They're super easy to clean, the spout can be cleaned with a thin straw/nipple brush.

Best pouches!
The best reusable pouches I have tried! Filling them is a bit of an adventure (but reasonably easy when I pour from my blender) and the zippers close tightly with no spilling (unlike other brands I have tried that explode as soon as the pouch is squeezed). I freeze smoothies in them that get packed in my kids lunch and they hold up well! I bought a second set and recommend these to all baby/toddler parents I know!

Great usability, terrible shipping and handling
I bought these about 8 months ago and they’re great. They do work great, dishwasher safe, the seal is fantastic. Unfortunately my daughter has accidentally thrown a couple way and caps have gotten lost. No worries, just ordered another pack. This is what I was sent. 3 of them are missing and one of them doesn’t even have a cap. The box it was delivered in was crumpled and the seal was broken. I’m hoping to have this resolved because this is unacceptable.

Poor quality
Very poor quality, I won't give that to my children. This is so overpriced, should be 300 yen at most

Great for homemade foods
These are excellent if you want to feed your baby homemade food. I would make homemade soups, stews, etc. & then to reheat them, just place the pouch in hot water. They are not safe to microwave but that isn't a fault of the product. The seals worked really well & they aren't hard to fill once you learn how much they can hold. If you overfill them, it's a mess so be patient & make smaller pouches instead of trying to cram too much. I used a standard funnel & fill with about 1/2 cup of food & that works just fine. They are super easy to wash & rinse unless you let them sit for too long & food "crusted" inside the pouch. So feed your child & then rinse them as soon as possible to avoid this. If not, you will simply have to soak them in hot water to loosen the food & use a bottle brush to clean the tip & insides. These are also great for cold drinks like smoothies or even ice cream or frozen yogurt. Just throw them in the freezer & defrost as needed. These pouches are a great alternative to the pouches with processed foods sold in the store & they can be used again & again so they are more environmentally friendly. These pouched foods often seem cheaper at the grocery store but they don't have the same nutritional value & if you make a batch at home, it's much cheaper.

Easy to wash, no leaks, great for school snacks
I bought these baby food pouches to use as yogurt containers for my 6-year-old, since I make our own yogurt, and I’m really happy with them. The size is good—though I do wish they held just a bit more—but it’s still plenty for a school snack or quick treat. They don’t leak at all, which was a big concern for me, and they’re easy to wash out by hand. The only downside is that they don’t come fully clean in the dishwasher, so I usually just rinse and wash them manually, which takes a little extra time. That said, the convenience and sturdiness of these pouches make them worth it. My daughter loves them, and I love that I can skip store-bought yogurt cups and waste. Overall, a great buy!
