A Great Whistle.
My grandson tried it outside and we could hear it inside the house. He used it on a camping trip and loved it.

Works very well and you can never be too safe out camping and hiking

light and easy to carry
Very nice little item. Super light and small to carry, yet gives a feeling of safety while out there. The compass is a fun little plus.

Loud rattling but works great
Serves a purpose however the whistles rattle when not in use. If you seek quiet discretion, do not buy.

I don't dare touch a leaf for fear of a horrible rash. But I digress
My daughter is an adventurous nature-loving girl. I know because I write this from my couch and she tells me all the time. The outside hates me but has embraced her as one of their own. I'm getting sunburned just thinking about walking outside. I don't dare touch a leaf for fear of a horrible rash. But I digress. This was at the top of her wishlist for Christmas. I pray she never has to use it.

Just Okay
Actually, it was pretty cheesy for the price. The thermometer was in Celsius. Live and learn.
