Glute Ham Glider

My wife was using this at the gym, but it was so popular she wouldn't get to use it much... so she bought her own and loves it. One of the few pieces of workout equipment that she uses consistently.

This product immediately exceeded my expectations. Before purchasing, I read all the reviews and watched the demo video showing clips of suggested use/exercises. Now having tested it myself, I can confidently say his product will be a staple in my exercise routine. If I absolutely HAD to give constructive criticism, I would say it should somehow clear the ground by an inch or two more for hand placement purposes. Please understand, though, that this is not a barrier to an effective workout.

I have the need to strengthen my Glutes and Hamstrings. My "sliders" were ok, but wanted to try something that might be easier to use. After looking over several options, I landed on this one. It seemed very heavy duty, didn't have issues with the wheel hardware (i.e., rubbing or bolt sticking out). One comestic issue is the name is upside down when using it in "glute" mode vs. the pictures of using it for abs (the metal "V" in the middle is inverted). On carpet, the unit glides well and I don't have to worry about my feet moving off the "sliders."

Works great when using two feet that are similar in strength. Any imbalances or single leg exercises causes it to go crooked which makes sense with how it’s built.

Love this product. I had been doing some of my crushes with a foam roller (don't ask) and the routines were clunky, then I was watching a news report about a basketball player who came to the US from Africa. In a background "b-roll" shot, I saw him on a mat using a device like this one – BOOM. I couldn't order it fast enough. Exactly what I needed and I'm confident it will last longer than I do!

Almost $100 for this? The lable is crooked and arrived with one of the wheels off. I tried to put it back in but now it rubs against the metal and now useless... This is so overpriced for no reason. At least put your label on it directly if you're charging this much for a piece of metal and rubber wheels.

Honestly, save yourself some money on this one. The issue of this one: wheel kept falling off. If I turn the screw too tight, it doesn't fall off any more, but won't roll smoothly either. What a terrible product.

Works well. Does not take up too much room. Built well. You get a good pump.

Like bicep curls for your legs. Great for full range of motion reps or isometric holds. Prehab/ rehab or upping your lower body workouts. Solid construction and comes fully assembled, wheels are smoothe and spin well. No sharp edges noted. Shipping was fast, no damage to box or product

At first, I was thinking to make my own...I do things like that. Looking at the different vendors, I could see differences in the weight and size of the materials used. The outer dimensions of the products may be similar, but structurally, one is Heavy duty, as opposed to medium or light duty. My philosophy is if you don't make something to last a thousand years, then what's the point? So, in keeping with my standards, I bit the bullet and ordered the more costly, heavy-duty version. I am currently 256 pounds, and oh was I pleased with what came. I couldn't have made a better one myself, and that is an extreme compliment to the people who designed and built this. It glides smoothly and is wide enough to vary from narrow to moderately wide foot and hand positioning. I will no longer need my ab rolling wheel exerciser as it is now redundant. It has a good paint job to protect it from moisture, and as long as it is used as intended, I can see my posterity using this in the year 3023...it's that well made. So when considering the price, remember, you will save in the long run if you think of this piece of equipment as a fitness heirloom that future generations won't have to pay for because you bought Quality in the first place. That more than justifies the price in my books.

Was ready to go out of the box. OMG the exercises! Pretty amazing what you can do with it. Worth the money to get the Bells of steel roller. Only complaint: Bells of Steel why did you put your label on crooked and upside down?

Ok I will admit I was skeptical if this thing was going to do what I hoped it would but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I was looking to fill a gap in my current home gym equipment since I didn’t have anything that worked super well for isolating my hamstrings. I started with some ‘furniture sliders’ which were better than nothing but these are a significant game changer. I don’t have to worry about my feet becoming dislodged due to the shape of the middle bar, and the wheels roll smoothly and are much more forgiving on my concrete floor. The DOMS I’ve had since using this also tells me that it works as advertised. Construction definitely looks and feels solid as well. So far very impressed with this, especially for the price.
