Will it work for 51 1/4 inch opening?

Sorry, I'm not quite sure. The opening I use is 43 inches and it's very sturdy. 51 and 1/4 seems too wide for this gate.

The size Im looking at says 52x2x30 Is that length before adding the extensions?

i believe thats the maximum size using the extensions that come with it.

Will it fit 35.5" opening?

I use it on a 48" opening, so it should on a 35.5" opening.
