Excellent product
I’m really impressed with this driftwood and the customer service from the company who sells it! The pieces I received were exactly what I was hoping for. You can tell right away that no two pieces are the same and they were a great size. The wood is sturdy and high quality. It also cleaned up easily once you follow the included instructions. If you’re looking for authentic looking driftwood that stands out and gives your tank a natural feel, I definitely recommend this. Great value for the price and I would absolutely purchase again!

Nice driftwood! Much better than what I got from the pet rstoe!
Very happy with the 2 pieces of driftwood I received! I was hesitant at first, after having rotten luck ordering driftwood from one of the 'big-box' pet stores & getting really crappy stuff. But I needed some good wood for the tank I'm setting up & was quite pleased with the two pieces that "majoywoo" sent. Both pieces have interesting shape & textures. I like that they can be placed in different orientations/positions that give various appearances. When soaking them initially, there was only a small amount of tannins released - (as opposed to the junky flat wood from the pet store that make the water turn almost-opaque-dark brown within 15 minutes!) I'm still working out how I want my tank to look, and what plants, stones & other decor to add - I most likely will come back here & get more wood once I'm further along with getting my tank set up.

Amazing Wood Pieces
I was hesitant to buy wood online that wasn’t “you get what you see” but the pieces I got looked great together and was way cheaper than what I would get at my LFS. I was afraid of getting lots of tannins but I boiled it a couple of times and my water has been crystal clear. Didn’t float at all. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty satisfied
The spiderwood is all in the proper size range, and they look good and gnarly for an aquascape. They set up and posed well, I didn't have any issues with them floating, after boiling. I boiled them all for an hour, twice, with cold water baths in between. They still developed this strange growth, which I think is a form of biofilm. My water parameters are all still in order though, and from what I read it isn't harmful. They feel firm and strong, not fragile or anything. If you're near a beach or can find pieces for free, that's best, but for the price, I'm pretty satisfied with the value.

Quality, Nice Pieces!
So I’ve ordered from this company at least three or four times over the years. Only once was I disappointed after unpackaging moldy wood. After I got over the disappointment of that order (which I did return), it hasn’t stopped me from continuing to order from this seller because of my past positive experiences. I’ve ordered both spider wood as mopani. This particular time I ordered 2 pieces of spiderwood, and I was not let down. The pieces are super unique, all at least 12” in length and loving the shapes. I’ve learned 1) You (almost always) get what you pay for in terms of the size you order. It is natural wood so every piece will be unique 2) It’s like a box of chocolates: you never know what you’re going to get. If you’re not happy with what you received (ex: 3 smaller pieces of spiderwood but you expected to get pieces that were bigger, then you probably should pay a little more 🤷🏻♀️). Or if you don’t like the shape, well….its natural wood . Also keep in mind some super glue, a piece of cotton (and some of whatever substrate you have to sprinkle over the glue to cover the white color the super glue dries)…..then you have more flexibility make what you want you can take those smaller pieces and create your own, unique piece. As I’ve learned since I started this hobby, you don’t have to be disappointed with what you receive (unless you paid for 2 larges pieces and didn’t receive two large pieces), you can do so many things with multiple small pieces. They don’t have to be just some wood that lays flat in your aquarium. Save some money (if you don’t end up returning it bc you got pieces arrived moldy)….and find a way to scape your tank with what you have. I boil all of the wood (and all things related to hardscape) every time. I’m still expecting there to be some tannins in my tank, but fish like it, it’s good for their slime coat and it’ll eventually be clear with proper maintenance as well as time. Im still anticipating it’s not going to sink straight to the bottom so I plan on anchoring them anyway for stability. And if you begin to see some fuzzy, unsightly white organic biomaterial growing on your wood, it’s more likely than not both the wood and your tank are trying to find an equilibrium and the white stuff with eventually go away if you don’t choose to try and get rid of it first. And for those who are complaining about their wood not sinking right away after boiling/sinking, then use a rock of something to anchor it down until it’s waterlogged. Problem solved. I’ve boiled and boiled sometimes and the wood still wouldn’t sink. So basically if you’re not happy with it or you feel like you got ripped off, then contact the seller. Otherwise look at it as a chance to do something cool by creating your own piece. My two 12” pieces of spiderwood did have some natural tiny thorn-like pieces (since remember: it’s natural wood), but I sanded those to try and help mitigate any injury to my fish. I saw some negative reviews from other people, looked at their pictures and thought : I would love to have received that piece. But the two pieces I received are going to be perfect for my river bed theme in a tank set up I’m working on now. Definitely recommend this seller as definitely will be ordering again in the future.

Would buy again!
Beautiful pieces, I’m very pleased with the ones they picked out for me! True to size and diverse. I boiled all 5 pieces for about 15 minutes before putting them into my tank. LOTS of tannins came out, I personally love tannins but keep that in mind if that’s not what you’re looking for. They were also very securely packaged, I didn’t have any broken pieces. They’ve been in my tank for about 24 hours now and there really isn’t any tannins anymore, so boiling definitely does the trick! (in my picture, the super large piece of wood in the middle and the little wood tube looking one aren’t from here, but the rest are.) Overall, I’m more than pleased with this purchase - especially for such a great price!

The quality of the pieces i got.
I wish they would've mentioned somewhere the entire soaking process has to be done yet. I dont mind boiling to kill bacteria, but its boil on and of for 3 hours, possibly repeating and cooling for a couple hours. Just kindve a pain I didnt really want to deal with. I sure wish my pieces looked more like the photos I see of other posting. I feel like I got kindve scrappy pieces. Some brittleness as well and very sharp in some areas. The shapes I received in my opinion were not that great. And my pieces are very pitty. Id like to return but I dont care to jump the hoops to do so. Im a business owner and my time is tight. One piece was super light feels almost holo inside. so im hoping itll sink after boiling. I see so many good pictures from people and to see what I got, a little disappointed. Everything is so pitted and jagged, its nit even good for the plecos to feed off of. And 22 bucks im nit mad at it. For what I got I wish it wasnt 22 bucks. If I had received pics like I see from other I think thats be just fine. Or even like 19.99.

Every piece unique
They gave me a very large chunk which is awesome, I knew that each piece would be unique. The gnarled textures are amazing to look at. Not being too familiar with this type of wood, and only going by the pictures, I was hoping to get one with more branching. I may buy several smaller pieces to try and accomplish this effect. Beautiful and great size piece though! It’s a tough decision to make, buying wood for this much money, not knowing exactly what shape you’re going to get. If you’re looking for a very specific shape, I suggest buying in person or a shop that shows the exact piece you’ll buy. But if you like surprises… I say they’re generous with the size (at least mine was). I just cleaned the wood, and soaked it overnight. It will need time to sink, but here’s a picture of it floating.

Very happy
Stunning features on the wood and luckily both pieces formed an arch. Took a few days to soak fully but they look amazing. Can't wait to get the landscaping done now

Really nice pieces !
I received two beautiful pieces of spiderwood. They sunk immediately thankfully !! I boiled them for 1 hour and they still release some tannins and have changed the colour of my water but I dont have a problem with that as tannins are antibacterial and antifungal and really benefits your fish ! I received two beautiful pieces that fit together perfectly to form one very large piece ! I added some moss and they look great ! Also the customer service for this company seems to be top tier as i had issues with a previous order and they resolved it very quickly!
