Why are the reviews for this item mention about dogs? I would like a relevent review for this item... like the durability and quality

I can’t answer why anyone would mention dogs. Common sense would say keep them off of it to prevent puncturing. It’s very sturdy, but it’s not meant for dogs. I am very critical when it comes to quality for $. This one more than meets standards.

Does this have to be inflated?

The end of the slide needs to be inflated as a buffer zone

Does this have to stick into the grass?

Yes, it brings the sticks to secuere it to the ground.

What all comes with this? What do I need to buy extra for this to work and to be put together? Does it come with an air compressor?

It does not come with a air compressor or pump. You’ll need a pump the blow it up. Hose to attach. Something to bang in the stakes. I didn’t find this the work very well.
