The SVBONY 1.25" Broadband CLS Filter is engineered to suppress urban light pollution by blocking major artificial light wavelengths while transmitting 90% of key nebula emission lines. Featuring durable ion-assisted multi-layer coatings and a precision planetary rotation system, it enhances contrast and detail in astrophotography with color CCD and DSLR cameras. Its ultra-thin aluminum frame minimizes vignetting, making it an essential tool for city-based astronomers seeking clearer, more vibrant deep-sky images.

Realistic Expectations Folks!
Bortle 9+ skies. Neighborhood: Oak Cliff. Just outside of Downtown Dallas Texas. The worst possible place to view the stars in my opinion. Equipment: Orion XT6i doing visual astronomy. We couldn't see much in all honesty, Because the sky was like looking at the stars through an empty plastic milk jug. After viewing the Orion Nebula for a few minutes, I remembered having my CLS Filter. Screwed it on and it made substantial difference! The Orion Nebula had a lot more contrast and detail. It was visibility much more enjoyable to observe. After that we looked at a few double stars and Pleiades which looked nice. Can't comment on Astrophotography, but for visual viewing, in the described sky, it made our night go from "hohum" to "Oh wow! Look at that!"
