how do i remove the plastic lock ring from the top of the chem-dip can???

I used adjustable pliers/ channel locks. Rolled upward. If you do it carefully can re-snap Good video on YouTube

Is this stuff clear or dark colored? Just openened a can and it looks dirty or used.

For sure it is not clear, it should have a dark amber/brown color.

Why does 1 cost $40 and 2 is $480?

$480 could be larger ie. 10 gallon pail....

Can We use this product to clean a dishes with it?

This is a toxic chemical cleaner used for removing baked on oil and grease on auto parts. It will certainly clean dishes but I'd be careful if you plan to use those dishes for eating. You also want to avoid skin contact when you use it to clean anything.
