Great little light. Easy to put on and I get about 8-10 hours in the welding booth out of it before it needs a charge. I turn it on and off in that time when I’m not actively laying beads. It helps a lot with start up on overhead welds or if you’ve got shadows to deal with so you can see what’s going on. I will say once you strike an arc, the light is pretty useless because the arc light drowns it out, so don’t count on it to keep you in a straight line. But for everything else it’s great and I definitely recognize if I forgot to turn it on.

Give this a 10 if I could. Installed on the top center of my welding helmet, very bright, gives me the light on the weld, helps allot.

I got lucky in that the curve of base plate matched my welding helmets great light. Bright and seems very sturdy. The glue pad for base is very strong. The quick disconnect is nice. Overall very happy

These are solid lights. I bought two so one could charge while I used the other one. Seem to be pretty tough and they stay where you aim them. Wish they were just a little bit brighter but other than that they really help me see my weld seems.

It’s a nice little Hood light that gets the job done. I have a job that requires me to tac and weld little welds all over the dark crevices of a jig, that means a lot of flipping up the hood if you can’t see in those dark areas, but this light makes it to where I don’t have to lift my hood up anymore, it lasts the whole 10 hour shifts as long as I charge it overnight. I like the quick disconnect for the light so you can charge it unfortunately I broke my little plastic tab and I have to tape it but still works. I’m not a fan of how it turns off by holding the button, tapping it just switches mode, which I can see how in other jobs it would be useful. Overall good product especially for the money

First time using it was when I did my aluminum welding test. Worked great except I don’t have a sensitivity dial on my helmet. Even on the low setting of the light it would shine off the coupons and dim my helmet. Second time using was on a car I was doing. Since it was painted it only dimmed my helmet twice. And if I put it on the low setting it didn’t even dim it. Only used it twice over two weeks and it’s still showing a green healthy charge. Fits well on my helmet. Very light weight and portable. Will see about the durability. But so far I’m very pleased with it. I do wish when I turned it off on low setting it would turn back on low setting instead of high

Awesome idea, but unless you are working in a fab shop with poor lighting it just won't hold up. There is a weak point in the swivel or pivot design that broke way too easy, but the light is bright as heck easy to remove, good idea, just too weak for industrial maintenance work.

Don't know how I lived without this. For the price I wish it had a second mount.

I've only used this light for 1 day, but so far the day has been much brighter. This was easy to mount, the adhesive stuck very well and I can adjust the angle easily. I still have full use of my shield without interference with the mount. I haven't gotten it wet yet, which will inevitably happen working outside. Hopefully the light will withstand the rain.

Product sold as firefighter flashlight but stopped to work after less than a year for no reason … great chance it didn’t happen during a rescue operation …! Absolutely too expensive for the quality, I even tried to reach them to ask for a replacement to give it another try but they wouldn’t even care to answer . 100% trash customer service and cheap product. When it worked the light level was very good it could’ve been a great product.
