Do NOT eat these raw. They are poisonous. They must be cooked and strained. The seeds cannot be consumed., That said, these are terrific after being boiled/cooked/steeped and the syrup strained and mixed with honey. They are a wonderful immune boosting syrup to take as needed. Keep in the refrigerator to have a long shelf life.

I have been on a hunt for a quality elderberry that I can make my tea with. First the packaging is great it’s delivered in a cardboard canaster and in a resealable bag, which is great when storing my tea. Second the flavor is pure and tasted as great as the ones I grew in my backyard.

The container is sturdy with a ziplock bag and a scoop. The product was easy to use the tea that we made tasted great and froze super easy. Has helped everyone in the house with the cough we have all had.
