Adorable and Functional Wind Indicator

The wind characters on the die are lighter making it a bit hard to read but there's an easy solution to fix it. Overall, it's a very nice accessory for any mahjong set. Bonus, it also came with 3 regular dice which I needed anyway.

Bought to award as a prize
I bought this (and a second style of wind indicator) to give out as prizes at a Mahjong tournament. They're well made and beautiful. A friend of mine bought one of each and uses the English lettered cube from one wind indicator in place of the Chinese character one in the other wind indicator. Yes, they're interchangeable. (Yellow Mountain should take a hint from this fact.)

All-Wood Construction Adds Sophistication to the Game
With most mah jongg wind indicators being plastic, along with the dice, this is different in that it is all-wood and, I believe, is more befitting of this classic game.

Excellent
I was leary with the negative reviews, but there weren't many options available that looked as good as this. For the price, I risked it. My Mahjong set is very nice but it has a cheap dial wind indicator. I took a gamble and this just added to the the quality of the game. It was as described and pictured, shipped quicker than expected. Very happy, can't wait for our next game~!
