It’s an easy, quick read and very uplifting. It also makes a beautiful gift for the women in your life. Review: 'A great book written just for me!' - The book is great! Author and psychotherapist Oludara Adeeyo wrote a great book on self-care for Black women and I learned a lot of valuable information on how to take care of myself, physically, emotionally, spiritually as well as financially. It's not easy being a Black and Jamaican woman and like other sistahs across the globe, I am forever fighting to stay alive! There are some great tips on how to take time for myself and no one else, such as taking relaxing bubble baths, stop being a 'ride or die' sistah, doing Yoga and so much more! Wow! I am very impressed with this book! I shall definitely try some of the great tips to staying healthy! Thank you, Dr. Adeeyo, for writing a fantastic book made exclusively for Black women across the globe! May God bless you.

A great and simple introduction for practicing Self-Care
Just what I needed to start my self-healing journey. The advice and topics are very relatable and feel tailored to my experiences as a Black woman. I truly feel heard, seen, and understood. I love the commentary on the topics the most, it gives me insight and a chance to reflect on myself and my thoughts. There are 150 self-care tips. Some tips resonate with me more than others, but that just means there's a little something in here for everyone, which is great! Most of these tips are great for anyone to practice, regardless of race/gender. Highly recommend it, plus the book and illustrations are cute :)

Loving this book!
I am really enjoying this book. The author Oludara Adeeyo does a great job explaining radical self care and has so many practically ways to experience self care. This book will change your life! Originally purchased this book as a graduation gift for someone at Barnes and Noble. After purchasing one for them decided to purchase myself a copy and grateful to have found it on Amazon! May purchase a few more as gifts for others! I received her other book as a gift from someone. That book is called “Affirmations for Black Women” which is also great as well!
