DEAD MAN A young man in search of a fresh start, William Blake (Johnny Depp), embarks on an exciting journey to a new town...never realizing the danger that lies ahead. But when a heated love triangle ends in double murder, Blake finds himself a wanted man, running scared. RENAISSANCE: PARIS 2054 It's 2054 Paris and the city lives in the shadow of corporate giant Avalon, which sells the irresistible promise of "ageless beauty." The sudden kidnapping of a gifted young scientist draws a tough-as-nails cop into a twisted underworld of corporate espionage, genetic research and organized crime. EQUILIBRIUM Mankind has outlawed the things that trigger emotion, and to uphold the law, a special breed of police is assigned to eliminate all transgressors. But when the top enforcer (Christian Bale) misses a dose of an emotion-blocking drug, he begins to realize that things are not as they seem. TEXAS RANGERS After the Civil War, Texas is at the mercy of murderous bandits. From the chaos emerges a group of young cowboys summoned to reform the Texas Rangers and restore order. Starring James Van Der Beek, Dylan McDermott, Ashton Kutcher, Usher Raymond and Rachel Leigh Cook. Review: MonoChrome - An adventure in monochrome. Three of the four are in black and white. One is a surreal cartoon. Review: As Existential Noir Cult Classic !!! - I also got it just for the Johnny Depp film I'd never heard of, as I was on a Johnny Depp kick, and which turns out "Dead Man" is a totally classic existential noir-comedy !!! Excellently well cast and well written. I'm in awe of it !!! and very surprised it's not a considered a 'cult classic'.
