This really works well!
I was skeptical at first but this siphon really does work! After a long winter, it was time to get out and cut the grass. There was a full tank of gas in the garage that had been sitting for some time. I put this gas in my tractor after running it dry. Well, I went to start it and nada. I ran the battery down trying to start it. I saw some videos about this so I decided to take a chance. Since I'm new with this, it did take some twiddling on my part but it really does work! I charged the battery, removed the plugs and cleaned them with a wire brush and put some new gasoline in and bam! The tractor fired right up. In short, this really does work and the fact that it has few moving parts and is made in the U.S.A. sold me.

It works like a charm!
No more gasoline in your mouth while siphoning! Great for draining bad water too. No more sucking crap down your mouth! Just shake and drain. I bought three.

Works once I cut it
It was way too long for my ATV. Once I cut it, it works great.

Store your fuel can spout and the siphon tube in a plastic box.
This beats lifting a 5 gallon Jerry can to pour fuel into my Jeep and holding it for a few minutes. Now, I can drain most of the fuel out of the can without lifting but the can has to be elevated. I use the rear cargo area to set my Jerry can on and siphon the fuel into the tank. When it gets really low and the siphon stops, I pick up the can and pour the remaining into the filler to the fuel tank.

Not good for small gas tanks
Item does not work on snowblower or items with a small gas tanks. You can’t move it up and down enough for it to trigger. You’re better off getting one that has a manual pump. Quality was good.

Great Flow
Used to siphon a full tank of gas out of my Mustang GT so the fuel pump could be replaced. Flow was great.

It works!
Note that this works better on deeper tanks with at least 4” of gas. Since there was only an inch of gas left in the snow blower’s tank, I filled it all the way to the top so the suction would work properly. I’ll use the siphoned gas on the lawnmower next; it won’t go to waste. To start the process, submerge the copper tip into the tank and push/pull the hose repeatedly and vigorously until the gasoline starts inching its way up the hose. Try not to let air get inside the hose. Make sure the container that will catch the gas is lower than the source. Then watch it flow nicely.

Sized appropriately
The right diameter fo motorcycle tanks, Lawnmowers chain saws; etc…..

Not a great invention
Doesn't work well enough to siphon consistently.
