A Great Alternative to Canned Air
These days, as with most products, the prices have gone up and the price of compressed air seems to be around $8 a can unless you can find a multi pack but things like this tend to be out of stock often. I've considered buying a powered air duster for a few years but was always put off by the high prices. I've also noticed a lot of them have reviews saying they just aren't strong enough to be comparable with a traditional can of air. When I found this Koonie model, I decided if I'm going to pay the high price for a cordless duster I might as well buy the most powerful one I can find. Right off the bat I like the size of the unit. Without the vacuum portion attached it's about the same size as a can of air. At first I thought not having a variable trigger would be a con but since you don't have to use short spurts like you do with a can, it's not a problem to just press the button and leave it on, and then just press if again for the high mode or to turn it off. I was impressed with how much air it moves, I recommend just always using the high mode since you're paying more for this model because it's more powerful than others. I didn't want or need the vacuum portion since I have a Dyson that is pretty portable itself but I decided to try it and was impressed with just how good it works. You obviously don't have much of a collection for debris but the filter itself is very sturdy and washable. I now use it for very small jobs like vacuuming air filters for the air conditioner and air purifiers, along with any small messes. The other huge benefit with this unit is the large built in battery. I've been using it quite a while and still haven't needed to recharge the unit yet, and when it do it's no big deal as I'd rather charge it than have to buy a new can. Charging does take quite some time but it's understandable due to the large battery. You can use the unit as a battery bank but I don't because I'd rather save all of the battery for runtime on the unit itself. The included attachments are very useful as well. I'd say this duster is more powerful than a can of compressed air but compressed air is still better in some situations due to the much smaller and more precise tip used on the cans. If you use attachment with the brush on the end you get a near perfect result as the brush loosens the dust and the air blows it away. The only thing this Koonie needs is a precision tip to add onto the end of the tube and it would be perfect and better than compressed air in every way. I'm sure a determined person or someone with a 3D printer could make such a tip if Koonie themselves pass on the opportunity. I like the power of this unit, great build quality, long run time, and the bonus of a decent hand sized vacuum and it'll end up paying for itself by the time you save yourself from needing to buy more cans of compressed air. I did a review of this Koonie air duster on my YouTube channel. If you search "Koonie Air Duster" you'll likely find it on my channel Mr Everything, as I'm not sure a link will post in this review.

Must-Have Tool for the Home Office!
I absolutely love this tool for my home office. No more chemical duster cans, or otherwise, and having to dispose of them in the trash. Charge this up, leave it on your desk, and fire it up whenever you want to while using nothing but the airflow in your home. While it may seem to be a bit on the pricey side, I assure you it is worth it both economically and environmentally. Economically: With your average two-pack of duster cans running somewhere around $10, this tool, at $90 currently, would pay for itself after the amount of time you'd run through nine two-packs of disposable dusters. This has lasted me much longer than those nine two-packs ever would, and I also use it much more than I did with the disposable dusters. It is just super convenient being right on your desk, charged up and ready via simple USB. Environmentally: You eliminate the disposable cans and the possibly toxic duster chemicals from your trash and landfills. That in itself is a huge selling point for me. The two speeds are very convenient for different jobs. The low speed is nice for a simple dust blower for your desk, keyboard, or any other tight, hard to dust areas of your home. The highest speed setting rivals the airflow of the disposable duster cans, without the freezing side effects on delicate electronics. The noise level difference between the two speeds is very noticeable. The lowest speed is not much more than a small, spinning desk fan in noise level. The highest speed setting produces a high speed whine, but that is to be expected considering the RPM level of the motor and the amount of airflow it is pushing out. The vacuum feature is also great for small, dry spills, crumbs on your desk or keyboard, and pet hair in your work area. It won't pick up the biggest objects, obviously, but it does pick up the small things very easily; leaving you with a nicer work environment. I rarely write full reviews for products, but this product greatly exceeded my expectations and has made itself a must-have tool for my current office space and any future office space down the road.

4-Star Rated - Best in Class at current time but one issue that would make it much more practical
Has versatile use, not just for blowing dust out of crevices in between the keys of your keyboard, although that's what a lot of buyers only get it to do. If you know the difference between a 6, 8, 10, 16-penny nail is, well you a 16-penny nail is steel that's about twice as thick as the lead core inside a common standard #2 pencil, so just one single nail in your hand you feel some heft to it. This device can push a 16-penny nail across a tile floor or concrete slab surface. So although it's marketed as an air duster it's actually not bad as a small portable cordless handheld "small particles & debris blower". Nails, screws, metal shavings, sawdust, the kinds of stuff you might find in a builder's shop or shed, or a construction site, etc etc.. that's what I got it for and it has been not bad actually as a cordless fairly small and easy to handle "micro blower" type device. The beauty of it is of course that it's cordless. And it's small. I can get right up and into pre-installations of doors, windows, and host of similar other chores that require preliminary cleaning & prepping. Previously that was a meticulous and laborious task requiring a CORDED big bulky Shop-Vac and sometimes using a FULL-Sized BLOWER ( the ones the size of a Bazooka that are called "Leaf Blowers"), and magnetic pick-up tool telescoping-style sticks. A routine but necessary task was a tedious headache chore to say the least. This one device handles nearly 90% of that now, in a tiny fraction of the time, with no cords to manage or wrestle with, or unwind and rewind, no Shop-Vac or Bazooka-sized elephant gun Leaf Blower to lug around - - - not any more - - - thanks to this. I would really to give this a 4.5 star, because I feel it's really worth it, but that's not possible so only a 4-Star rating is what is allowed... You're probably wondering what the half-star or 1-star deduction would be about. So I'll cover that now. Keep in mind this device is BATTERY-contingent. It runs on a battery. You have to recharge it. Etcetera.. You get the picture... That means any time that "on" button is pushed, and you hear that whirring sound that the motor is engaged, that you're depleting precious battery life, RIGHT ? Okay, so what am I leading up to here ? Okay, here's the kicker :: This device has (2) multiple speeds (Low or High). I has one button FOR BOTH. And how it works is - You press AND HOLD power button for approx 1-2 seconds for device to power on at default speed (LOW)... Next, you press AND HOLD the SAME BUTTON for an additional 1-2 seconds and the device will switch from Low to HIGH speed. Finally, after that, to turn device completely off, you press and hold the same button AGAIN, WAIT, and device eventually turns off (1-2 seconds). The PROBLEM IS.... all those little 1-2 second delays... They add up over time. And they're annoying. And they nickel & dime a good 10-15% of the battery life, literally piss it away, since ur not actually pointing and using the device at ur project at the time, ur just waiting for the device to either come on, switch speed, or turn off. What you want, what you might mistakenly think, before you actually hold in your own hand and use this device (and others like it, I also have another very similar device, different brand name, abysmally worse battery) is that the device comes on instantly when you press the power button, like pressing down on the nozzle of an aerosol can or container, like air freshener or spray paint, hair spray, insecticide, etc etc... You push the button - the air blows out,,,,,,, you release the button - the air stops blowing ..... is that what you envision...almost like a trigger action.... ???? Well, unfortunately, that's NOT how this device functions. You have to press the button, hold it down, and WAIT. Wait for about 1.5-2 seconds and then you feel it kick in... And it gets a little annoying after awhile.... I must admit, other than that I love how the device performs for my needs, but this one little issue really gets under my skin, every dang time....

This thing is pretty powerful!
I have one of the earlier versions of this device, and I use it a lot. I wanted more battery life, and saw this one, which has a much larger capacity battery and it can be used as a power bank, so I ordered it. The charging isn't very quick, but it does run much longer than my older one, which will come with me to work, for cleaning keyboards and PC fans. The power increase is noticeable on the new one, it both vacuums and blows much harder than my old one does, but it does scream on the high setting. My old one has lasted a number of years and has been dropped on carpeted floors many times without any damage. IMHO, it's worth it, just for getting rid of the canned duster sprays, and the vac is a bonus that works very well.

Struggle with this Review...Mixed feelings (Great Duster/Good Vacuum/Very Poor Charging)
The device is great!!! Excellent air flow / pressure on the Blower / Duster function. I do wish it had a Tip included that would reduce the nozzle end to a smaller point, and I don't seem to be able to find anything yet that will work for this desire, but it is doing a great job as it is. The vacuum I honestly didn't care too much about as I mainly bought this to replace cans of air but it works and works well as long as you remember the small size of the holding container and clean the filter between uses. Yes it is loud. Not painfully so in my opinion and no louder than I expected. The truth is a can of compressed air is also loud. It is pricy enough that I would have never purchased it when compressed air was at a normal price point. But, with current prices it has value. And, not having to search for cans of air that have gotten hard to find even at any price is also a bonus. So...with that why do I have mixed feelings aout this seemingly great device? Well charging is my issue. It advertises USB-C and 3 AMP charging at 5 volts. Technically speaking this is likely true (sort of). Most of the documentation only talks about 2 AMP charging and I don't actually have a 3 AMP (non-USB-C) charger to test the 3 AMP claim. But, I have several true USB-C chargers that will provide dozens of power profiles up to 100 watts including several that would support 15 Watts at 5 volts through 20 volts if properly requested. But, none of that will work and I don't mean at 3 AMPs a true USB-C charged hooked up to the device with a USB-C to USB-C cable is simply NOT recognized and thus not used AT ALL for charging. I had to use the USB-A to USB-C cable and dig up a USB-A 2 AMP charger in order to get any response at all that the device is actually charging. THIS IS NOT REALY USB-C.... This is USB-A with a USB-C cable end on one side and will NOT even support a USB-C charger... For this I tried USB-C charging from: Dell Ultra-Wide Screen monitor with USB-C 15 watt port Apple 2019 MacBook Pro with USB-C / Thunderbolt port Apple 100 watt USB-C charging block Aukey 100 watt USB-C charging block Aukey 20 watt USB-C charging block Innergie 60 watt USB-C charging block I cannot believe that this device will charge with any true USB-C charger and thus am reluctant to say the it supports USB-C charging since it really ONLY supports USB-A charging converted to a USB-C tip. This type of charging did work from both of my Anger USB-A chargers (one 2x and one 4x ports) and from my Gigabyte Mini-PC (used as my pfSense router) USB-A front port. I think that this really explains why the charging is so slow. I even have a GRYFALCON 8 cell charger that can charge (among many other batteries) 8 of the types of batterie this device actually has in it and do so in about 1.5 hours. Maybe it would be better to just allow the internal cells to be exchangeable so we can charge on a real charger and easily replace the cells?

Best electric duster yet
I use these mostly for work cleaning medical equipment, but it's nice to have one around the house as well. So much more useful than canned air. Although not as powerful in a single precision spot, they offer much more air over a general area and don't leave residue on glass lenses. I have no use for them as a vac, but in what little testing I did previously, they are not worth buying for the vac feature alone. I had 2 models of opolar brand previous to this. The biggest improvement the Koonie offers is the battery status gauge. This alone was worth buying a new one because I never knew how much longer the others would last so I was constantly charging them. Plus the larger battery capacity is a bonus. Uses a USB-C charger located on the side but note: it only works if the USB-C cord has USB-A on the other end (as provided). If your cord has USB-C on both ends, it will not work (many devices are like this and completely ruins the point of "universal" USB-C). At least the charger is on the side, unlike similar opolar which is on the bottom and always annoyed me why they would choose that. The Koonie is clearly more powerful than the original opolar (dark blue in picture). The difference isn't as noticeable with the newer opolar of similar design, but I do think the claim that it's more powerful is accurate. It wouldn't surprise me if it's 10 to 20% more powerful but that's hard to say without a more scientific method other than the way it feels on my hand. Another benefit to me personally is the slimmer profile at the base, as it fits into my tool bag pocket easier. The taller size doesn't bother me because it allows for the bigger battery capacity. In my use case, the fact that it can be taken apart and used as a power brick is pointless. Who doesn't have chargers and power bricks all over the house in 2022? Ha. I'd rather save money without that "feature". Otherwise, although too expensive, these are great devices to me and I can justify the cost in saved air cans and the huge annoyance of canned air only lasting about 20 seconds before getting so cold it's useless.

I tried very hard to like it...
There are many other blower/vacuum combos on amazon, that are almost similar to what this looks like, but almost 3 times as cheaper as this. I saw this one and got excited by seeing a lot of 5-star reviews on this. My goal was to find the best quality blower/vacuum even if it means overpaying. I was ready to do it. I just needed a dang GOOD device. I also expected the product to match its value to the price. Unfortunately, it definitely wasn't the case for me: 1. I pulled the outer tube and saw a water ring. Without me knowing before there was water condensation collecting right inside the device. That makes me question how long is this thing actually going to last? 2. The power. It's really not all that great. I understand it's wireless and that is cool. But when I tried to find one of the most expensive ones on Amazon, I was expecting a much stronger suction or blowing capability. 3. The smell. After a few minutes of use, it starts smelling like cheap plastic. I see that on the outside this vacuum is mostly plastic, but I didn't expect a smell during use. I don't know if that is due to it being new or the usual smell. 4. Noise level. This thing is LOUD. Especially on the higher levels. In my opinion noise levels do not match the power it outputs. In conclusion, I also tried to switch the modes that it has, just in case someone thinks I used it without switching between vacuum/blower mode. Overall, I am very disappointed that I had to pay so much money in hopes of receiving something that I don't have to return for quality issues, and it didn't end up being the case.

Photographer friendly
I mainly bought this piece for my photographic purpose since I am a wildlife photographer and work in dusty conditions. I was looking for a very compact, hand held, cordless vacuum cleaner to ward off the dust during interchanging of lenses in the field and fortunately, found this little piece. Now, I am very happy and satisfied that this piece of gadget does both the vacuum and blower and can also be used as a power bank to charge the molbile and has now found a permanent place in my camera bag. The regular rubber blower brush has now been removed from my gadget bag.!!??

Excelente producto
No tiene la fuerza de un bote de aire comprimido, pero si la necesaria para remover polvo y terminar con algo de aire comprimido en bote

Small but powerful
I, like a lot of people I'm sure, spent a lot of time searching for a wireless vac/blower/whatever to help with certain tasks. I dubiously settled with this one because of other people's reviews (and it would arrive the same day). Pros: 1. The battery life is quite good for what it is. 2. The blower/suck function has quite a lot of power for its size. 3. I haven't tried the power bank option but I have no doubt it will work well. Cons: 1. It's quite loud. 2. The blower nozzle isn't detachable (as far as I can tell) and feels like it could snap off if you look at it wrong. 3. The vac debris compartment isn't the biggest and the filter can be one blocked quite quickly. Overall, it's well worth buying IMO. The main body is quite sturdy and if/when the blower nozzle breaks, I'm sure something can be rigged up easily enough.

For light jobs it works very nicely.
I use it to clean my computer and my keyboard and i love it. For light jobs it is exactly what i was looking for. Don't expect a super powerful blower or vacuum like electric one. Like i said very good for light jobs. And here is a tip ! After i clean my glasses with water and soap I just use the blower to dry up my glasses it take 5 seconds and done. Nice and clean and no stripes. Let see how long the battery will last. So far so good.
