Love, love, love these!!
I absolutely love these!! How did I not know about these "sponges" sooner.!!?? For years I had been using "Handi Wipes" in my kitchen. They did not last long and were getting more expensive. Well, no more. These sponge cloths are incredibly durable! I wipe counters, wash dishes. They are soft but absorbent. They are a great size in my hand. I wet them, add a touch of soap, wring them out and go to it! I love the green color. I can spot them quickly in kitchen Best of all, they are extremely washable! Wash and reuse. Said to last 300 washes. Economical!! To wash I add to dishwasher (wrap around a rack so they do not float around), throw in wash machine with similar items or sometimes I just drop them in soapy boiling water to sanitize. And yes, they do dry out overnight or in few hours, but they are thin sponges after all. To be expected. Yes, I still use paper towels, but I cannot be without these now that I found them. And this package of 5 will last me a long time, IF I stop giving them away to others who I want to share this great product with!

A very versatile sponge cloth.
Was pleasing surprised using the versatile sponge clothes. They have great absorbance and are easy to handle for hard to get into spaces. One of the great perks is they are machine washable and they come out looking brand new each time.

strong and reusable
I recommend these sponge cloths to take the place of paper towels for many uses. The material is very absorbent, but does dry into a "crunchy" state, but as soon as the cloth gets damp it immediately softens up. I have used them for drying pots and pans as they are not abrasive. Another cloth was placed in my garage for washing the windows of my car, and the sponge cloth performed admirably for that task as well. The dirt on the cloth was easily washed off with a little regular soap. My only suggestion would be for the manufacturer to make a double or triple-sized sheet of this material, as my only criticism is that these sheets are a bit small for some cleaning tasks. However, I do recommend this product.

Extremely absorbent & eco friendly kitchen sponge alternative
[Great absorbency] I did an experiment. I "spilled" 1 cup of water and see how many sponge cloths I needed. ==> 2 sponge cloths were enough to absorb 1 cup of water :)! [Kitchen sponge alternative] I was getting tired of throwing regular kitchen sponges away all the time because it is almost impossible to keep them clean. I cut these sponge cloths in 1/2 to use as a dishwashing kitchen sponge and they work just as great. It dries so much quicker than regular sponges. Also machine washable to keep it sanitary. (It shrinks, just so you are aware) [Paper towel alternative] It absorbs well but dries very quick. (Absorbs 1 cup of water with 2 of these cloths) Also it doesn't leave the streak line from water like kitchen sponges would do. Then just toss it in the washer to use it again! I gave this a 4 star since I haven't been using it long enough. So far I love it!

I LOVE these and so does my brat dog
These are freakin awesome! I still use papertowels when I need to absorb grease from food. But I use these cloths for everything else I would nornally have used for cleaning. The packaging indicates that the cloth and packaging itself are both compostable. It is a product of Germany so rest assured, it is NOT manufactured in China. I like to use these around the sink and line them in areas where there is a lot of water drippage, like under the faucet knob. Some of the cloths might have white streaks in them but it doesn't affect the absorbency at all. Its just the way the fibers were mixed during production. I've washed mine multiple times in the washer and they hold up well. The packaging does indicate that you should not put them in the dryer. I accidentally threw them in the dryer the 2nd time I washed them and they ended up shrinking. But even though they shrank, they were still useable and still absorbed liquid just fine. They are very absorbent and strong so they're a perfect replacement for papertowels for use on cleaning duties like scrubbing the stovetop or microwave (I use dishsoap and water). They don't disintegrate like a papertowel would, they don't leave behind bits of paper or lint, they dry quickly (but not flat) when you wring them out completely, they're much easier to wring out than a dishtowel, they rinse out any debris extremely easily, they're larger than the more expensive printed styles which brings me to my last point which is that they're cheap! At close to just 1 dollar and some change, they are significantly less expensive than the designer cute printed cloths advertised as Swedish Dish Clothes. I was gifted one a few yrs ago with a lovely gnome design on it. I didn't actually start using until recently and noticed that it was much smaller than the If You Care brand. The function is the same but seriously, there's no point in paying more for a cleaning cloth when you can get it cheaper. Plus, if you have a dog like mine, you might be replacing them every so often. My dog has nabbed two clothes so far because she's a brat and think its OK to use them as chew toys LOL I ordered 4 packs two months ago and I just ordered 3 more packs today since I like having a giant pile before I do kitchen laundry.

A Sponge by Any Other Name...
After purchasing these I discovered that they are identical to those I began purchasing in 2020 from Thrive Market on the west coast. They were sold in a pack of 3 colors under the name of Amala Magic Sponge Cloth, but then they disappeared. They hold up so well, thoughโeven after a few blasts of my Clorox Clean-Up treatment for stubborn stains, etc. that spells doom for anything else if left on too longโthat I still have two unused sponge cloths from the pack I purchased from Thrive in 2022. Treated this way, these sponge cloths don't need to be machine-washed. For scrubbing, though, I use the Natural Dish Scrubbers, Kitchen Loofah Sponges that I began buying here in 2020 also. The combination of those two products at my kitchen sink has kept me from looking for anything better since I stopped using "dishrags" years ago. Nothing beats a fine-pored sponge for removing water from counters & faucets. (For actual dish drying when needed, the Fecido Heavy Duty Kitchen Towels sold here hold up well and last for many years. FYI, anything that's wet will develop an unpleasant odor if not thoroughly rinsed and thoroughly squeezed or wrung to remove as much water as possible after using it, in the kitchen & in the bathroom. Water is the vehicle that allows bacteria to multiply, but a little care & forethought will keep these sponge cloths as odor-free as loofahs treated the same way. So, I can recommend these sponge cloths without reservation!

Far better than an "average" sponge
Update, September 8, 2019: It has been a few months and I'm still using my first three sponges (rotating them in and out of the weekly clothes wash. They are really great for the fact that they'll clean really well, and then rinse out almost everything they just cleaned (not like original sponges that always seem to look dirty. The pictures here are after I cleaned the inside of my oven after a burned on spill and how it looks after I washed it with my regular dishwashing soap (Palmolive). There's a tiny bit of a stain left but it comes out in the washing machine. It also cleans up the same after cleaning up blueberry or cherry pie filling. Original review: I REALLY (really) like these If You Care "sponges". They're more like they say, a cloth.... or like a washcloth, but much much better... enter the sponge part of it. They are very absorbant and hold more water than an average sponge (this sponge cloth=1/3 cup, average sponge=1/4 cup). I have never liked the feel of a wash "rag" either, so I wasn't sure how this would go. Well, the cleaning ability I was given was better than before. Because they have a much larger total surface area than an average household sponge, these cloths make doing dishes a lot quicker and easier (these measure 8x6.75 inches or 20x17cm and are about 54sq inch/340sq cm. The area of an average sponge is around 14.25sq inch/90sq cm-with a measurement of 4.75x3in/12x7.5cm. Basically, they're almost 4x's the size). I noticed this especially when washing glasses, because it pretty much encased the entire glass, both the interior and exterior. Then moving on to the plates, etc got easier even so. By far, the BEST PART (next to them being 100% natural and compostable) of these sponges is that they RINSE CLEAN SUPER EASILY!! I cannot stand picking up a dank, sour smelling sponge because a small bit of soap was left in it....icky! If this one is full of a large squirt of soap, I only need to wring it three, maybe four times and ABSOLUTELY ALL of the soap comes out. That alone will save water too.... total win/win/win so far! The package states that each cloth replaces 15 rolls of paper towels and can be machine washed up to 300 times. I haven't gotten that far yet, but definitely will update here as my first one wears down. Lastly, I always read reviews to learn from others how they like or dislike a product, and I love to help people myself (I was a nurse). I am also not compensated for my honesty. If my review has proven to be valuable to you please click so below. It helps me to know if I should keep on doing what I'm doing. Thanks everybody... and definitely get yourself some of these! This is one product that is a great buy on Amazon. *I almost forgot--- the plastic bag these come in can be recycled too. Add it to the other plastic bags whenever you take them in. If you google/search it, you'll find there are many items that can be added to the recycled grocery bags, even if you use your own (ie: the plastic used to mold different products to cardboard,so they can be displayed). Everything needs to be clean and dry though! You can also search/google for places, if needed

Awesome!
These things are fantastic! Very versatile, eco-friendly, and easy to maintain. I bought this pack at least a couple of months ago and am still using the first one. My paper towel usage has dropped dramatically, so am very happy about that. I highly recommend this product.

Pretty good
I like knowing these can be washed and reused, and that I am helping the environment, but they end up smelling a bit faster than other brands so I have to wash them regularly. Other than that, no problems.

Excellent eco alternative to dishcloths
They last and last, can be put in the washing machine (while wet). Much more eco friendly choice of dishcloth. Don't be put off or fooled by the fact they feel like cardboard when they are dry - they are super absorbent. Well worth the money.

Great Product
Smelled a bit weird at first but that disappears quickly. Such a great product and good for the environment too. It absorbs water really fast and doesn't stain easily. It cleans really well and is not too rough on the hands.
