I like this stuff. It's lightweight, near-matte, has moderately strong hold, and smells, well, like being at the beach. It does a good job of making hair look like it has been soaked in saltwater, crusted with sand, and then windblown dry. Which sounds ridiculous, because it's just some goop in a plastic tub, but it does have rather impressive results. The smell is basically an approximation of what you smell like after a day at the beach. Funky, but a good funky. Girlfriend tells me it makes me smell like I went swimming in the ocean and then got my hair did in a beachfront salon. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because it tends to lose it's hold after exposure to anything more than light drizzle. Hair goes kinda limp and flat after it gets wet. But you can still finger-brush it into shape once you're in from the rain. Hold returns once dry, but about half as strong. This principle also applies to head perspiration. After the gym, there is very little hold left in this product. Is what it is. Give it a try yo.

I stumbled across this product from a Youtube video and decided to give it a try. I was tired of the same products from Target, Walmart, etc... I've been using it for about a week and I'm impressed with how it works for me. It provides a natural look and a decent amount of hold. Throughout the day I can continue to mess with my hair to style it as needed. The product smells good but not overbearing. One tip is not to apply with the hair too wet because then it will appear shinier and hold more. Just a little damp and it works perfectly.

I really like the feel and look of it, but the smell I'm not a big fan of, though it's not bad. It does its job but loses hold throughout the day. Unsure if it damages my hair or not but very washable. Also keep in mind this is a POMADE, it will make your hair shiny and with a wet-look. This does not give the same effect as a sea salt spray at all. A little overpriced I'd say, you can get the same for cheaper.

I really enjoyed this product but they seem to have modified the formula and I have had too many quality issues to justify the high price. The package is smaller than most similar products, but I actually liked this as my go to "travel size" pomade. But my most recent order was very puffy, creamy, and and aerated (meaning I was getting even less for my money). And twice over the past year I have received product that was very stiff and difficult to spread.

This pomade really captures the look and texture of hair after you've been at the ocean a few days. Use sparingly - with the right amount, your hair should stay put without feeling "crunchy." I'd start with about half or 2/3 the amount of other pomades. To revive the style later in the day, spritz lightly with water.

Do you enjoy smelling like a sheep? Then this product might be for you! I was fooled by the other reviews (though some do mention a "funk" which is the sheep odor) and also by the fragance of the product overall when I first opened the container. Once it is scooped out and applied to hair (mine was clean, but dry) it turns into a funky sheep odor. This is due to the fact that it is largely made of LANOLIN. Just as bad as the smell of lanolin is its texture! Sticky and greasy and stiff. I'm a woman with mid-back length hair that has a wave to it, and I wanted to add some definition on those days that my hair is very puffy from having been washed. Maybe this product is only for short hair, I don't know, but it just added a stiff sticky and white look, more as if I was trying to dress up as the bride of Frankenstein's monster instead of trying to look like a normal person. I immediately had to get in the shower and wash my hair a few times to get this gunk out. YUCK!

PURCHASED FEBRUARY 2024 Fatboy Hair Sea Salt Pomade, Lightweight Hold for Texturizing Hair, Beach Wave Finish, All Hair Types, 2.6 Oz Purchased this for my kiddo just before a trip. My kiddo was originally using a spray texturizer but didn't want to take an aerosol can so needed to find a good alternative. This was a good substitute and then decided it was preferred over the spray and no longer uses the spray any more. Good hair movement without weight and no greasy feel, and controls frizz great.

Muy buena cera, buena fijación, buen acabado.

Aroma agradable no tan fuerte. Textura suave y fácil de usarla. Es matte y esperaba que me dejara el pelo como si estuviera en la playa pero esa textura no le dio...no fija bien. Es para estilo “natural” como si no estuviera puesto nada en su pelo...o sea no se nota que trae pomada...tal vez como soy asiática y tengo pelo más grueso y muy liso. Tal vez pueda servir a la gente que tiene pelo más delgado y manejable.
