professional quality and durable. excellent for bicycles.
as a professional bicycle mechanic and service manager at a shop I use these tools almost every day and they have proven themselves time and time again. 5 years of ownership with everyday use and no issues

A tool set that oozes quality, is very attractive and easy to keep organized .
Wera is well known for its high quality tools. This Allen hexagonal wrench set is no exception. I own Allen set made by another manufacturer. It is all rusty and messy. I would not use such tools anymore, because they may trigger rusting of the bolts they drive. On the other hand, Wera's Allen wrenches are made of a harden stainless steel. This set is attracted to a magnet, so it is probably made of a high quality Martensitic stainless steel, probably precipitation harden-able, quality steel, which is used in the aerospace industry. The set is conveniently size marked, has plastic sleeve for electrical insulation and better hand grip. The ball ends enable difficult angle applications. This set is well organized and packed, letting everyone to keep it in order. All in all ,this purchase is a very well spent money.

Hands Down the Best L-Keys on the Market
These are the best L-Keys on the market by a wide margin and IMO are worth the investment. Even though PB Swiss might use a stronger alloy (it's impossible to know since tool companies are coy with what SS they use, at least I've never been able to find details) these Wera L-keys are much better for one reason alone and that's the HF. I have no idea why other companies haven't stolen this Idea as it's brilliant and works perfectly. If you've ever removed or put on a screw in a location that your hands can't reach you know how frustrating it can be to drop a screw and then have to get the magnet/grabber and try again only to drop it again... These Wera L-keys make that an issue of the past, at least for the sizes with the HF on them which is all but the 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5mm. The ballpoint design is great if you've never used L-keys with them before, but all decent keys have a ballpoint design now so I'm not going to give any bonus points for them. As for the Hex-Plus profile, I'm haven't really noticed any noticeable difference due to it and it's pretty tough to verify the benefits of it so I could take it or leave it honestly. Bottom line is if you want the best L-Keys on the market look no further. I have a set of Bondhus keys and they are nice, especially for the money, but I would gladly pay twice their cost to get these Wera L-keys again. And I would NEVER pay more than these for the PB Swiss and I really don't understand why people do. The only thing that kind of sucks is that the SAE ones don't have the HF as an option, so if you need SAE keys it's hard for me to say the Wera ones are worth the premium over Bondhus as I don't think they are in that case. So, as long as Wera is the only company incorporating a HF into their design they will be the clear #1 and you should buy these keys. Hopefully this helps someone who reads through every review like I do... Side note: Wera also makes sockets with a HF in them and those are great as well. Edit: So I unfortunately had these stolen from me and bought them again after looking around for anything better for whatever that's worth.

Best I’ve found for bicycle maintenance.
I use these daily to work on bicycles. The Hex Plus shape is the killer feature and it’s well worth the price of admission. I have yet to strip a single bolt, where as it use to happen somewhat regularly with my old hex set. They also get marginal, damaged bolts loose that I used to find very problematic. The color-coded sleeves have really grown on me, and make me more efficient when reaching for the size I need. Visually I cant see any signs of wear to the tool heads after many months of use. Here are the downsides: the colored plastic sleeves are a lot wider than the toolhead itself, and sometimes they won’t reach into a long, narrow holes. For this reason, I have to keep a second set of keys on hand. The sleeves insulate from magnets really well and make it difficult to hang them on a magnetic tools organizer. The lettering on the sleeves are almost completely gone already, (but you get used to the color codes so no big deal), however I feel they should be laser etched in or something. The storage case is completely useless because it’s very difficult to slide the keys in and out. I would only use it for travel purposes. In the shop it’s useless. Overall, I’m super happy with these keys and expect to get many years of service out of them.

Top tier durability
I got these to use at work despite work providing allen wrenches because we never have a full set. I was a bit worried since I work with ink that when cleaning them with solvents it would wear the rubber color or the size wording. After several months of daily use and cleanings (ethel acetate which is pretty rubber destructive) neither has occurred, and the wrenches don't show any signs of needing flat grinded. A+ for money and the durability, not only of the metal but the color coding.

Superb quality but heavyweight carry
I purchased metric and imperial for my EDC (everyday carry) and was surprised at the bulk and weight. The product quality is superb and plan to keep in my arsenal but not in my everyday carry. Might possibly cut holder in half and keep smaller sizes in EDC.

Used by pro mechanics, recommend for everyone
I always wait to review purchases until I have been using them for more than a few months. I work in a bike shop full time and these tools get used more frequently than any other. I have sliding t-handles and P-handle hex keys but Wera always gets used. These keys hold up very well and the special shaped head they have works very well even in worn hex bolts. The only real downside I can find with this key set is how the thick sleeve on each tool makes them difficult to get in and out of the holder but that is rarely a concern given since I use them too frequently to even bother with the holder. Personally I love the thick rubber sleeve because it actually serves a great purpose. When I have a overly tight quick release I can use the key as a lever against the frame and the sleeve prevents any scratching. The heads show no noticeable wear even after months of heavy use. I would argue the 10mm key is unnecessary for my needs as anything requiring that size bolt will require such significant force that it is simply better to use my T-handle instead or a hex bit on a breaker bar. This is one of the very few tools which is shop worthy but also not so expensive that they break the bank for a casual user. The color coded keys are super helpful too.

Parfait!

Not cheap but definitely worth it.
Absolutely love them, easy to use, practical ball end for tight spaces/ when you can't get straight angle, and they hold up well with use. Would for sure recommend.
