I felt obligated to write a review about "Doctor's Best Best Nattokinase (2, 000 Fu)" because the improvement my family felt over last 2 years. You are right, 2 years, which qualifies me to write a meaningful review on it. Why did my family start to use it? My father had a heart attack two and a half years ago. The ECG & MRI diagnoses were not good and he also had Embolism. With traditional treatment, I started looking for additional supplements that could help. After some research, I found Nattokinase could be one choice and "Doctor's Best" is quite reputable with very reasonable price. So everything happened there. What is the benefit? The improvement is STEADY and HUGE. AFTER CONSULTING THE DOCTOR, my father started taking the 2k Fu pills everyday. Because some worries about potential risks (see below), I asked him to take 1 pill a day in warm seasons and 2 pills a day in cold seasons, and asked him to regularly do the blood tests. After 1 year, the ECG result showed an improved T-wave from -4 to -3 (I'm not professional and the numbers are direct readings from the ECG curve which was explained by the doctor "a good sign of improvement"). And last week, after 2 years of taking the pills, the T-wave is lifted from -3 further to -2 plus significant improvement in body feeling. According to the doctor, this is GREAT! What is the other benefit? I started to take it about 1 year ago because my blood pressure is a bit high and I know my blood is very viscous. I constantly monitored my blood pressure afterwards and found that it decreased from average low@86~high@131 to low@75~high@119 in about a year. I'm not taking any other blood pressure control pills and my diet habit is the same. So this is definitely due to Nattokinase. And I'm happy about it. What are the RISKS? While doing the research before buying, I noticed there is a scientific paper (published) discussed the improvement of blood mobility (reduction of viscosity) after treatment of Nattokinase (many adults were taking the pills and their blood samples were tested over some time period). And then there are reports stating that longer time is needed to stop bleeding and unexpected bleeding occurs while some people brushing the teeth after taking Nattokinase. So I think there must be risks about it. And indeed, my mom can't take it because several days of Nattokinase intake would always cause her teeth to bleed after brushing. So for those who have this kind of problem, be careful. The best way is to always consult your doctor before taking and when anything unusual happened after taking. In summary, Pro: It worked in my cases; Pills are small; "Doctor's Best" is a good brand. nothing really bad, you just need to know if it fits you.

Tried others like this the best, it cleared up my sinusitis with 2 a day so I know it works. My siuns was pretty bad with regular recurrences that antibiotic did not seem to get rid of. But this took it out in about 2 or 3 weeks. Had a blood test and cholesterol is still a bit high but the HDL is higher also. I feel it helps other areas in the body and seems to thin the blood also. Sleep, pain relief, does not apply to this product. Seems like it might help weight loss also but the verdict is still out on that one.

This product has given me amazing results. Has lowered by blood pressure another 15 points. I am at 127/68 average, not bad for a 70 year old man. I am on medications to control blood pressure to 142/80 average but this nattokinase has helped a great deal. I also follow a strict diet and exercise 10 hours a week trimming trees, mowing lawn, and gathering debris filling up 55 gallon trash bags.

Excellent product. I had previously purchased a 'lipomal" nattokinase here, but it was no name and I didn't see any results. After reading a Consumers Lab report on nattokinase, I saw that there are many brands which have little to no actual natto. This brand was found to consistently contain over 150% of the label claim, to accommodate depletion with shelf life and to assure users they are getting the full benefit. After a few weeks, I to see great BP readings and feel confident that I'm getting the real thing to help address my CVD. Great price per dose too. To assure that I'm taking the amount shown beneficial in clinical trials (12k FU), I take 5 capsules daily (10k x 150%).

Amazing superfood supplement! Within a few weeks of taking this my blood pressure starting coming down and I suspect my circulation has improved. This benefits of this product are backed by science and I will continue to take it.

My husband had been dealing with his blood pressure since he was young. It's wasn't terrible but always just over what was considered ok. Once he hit his 50's it began to creep up higher and higher. He is a business owner and deals with a lot of stress so some of that we assumed was due to that. He works out every day and changed his diet but still blood pressure was not improving. After his brother died recently at a relatively young age, we became very concerned since he also had a father and grandparents who died of heart attacks. After much research, we found nattokinase along with 2 other other supplements (pro one zyme and serrapeptase) which he began taking about a year ago. He kept up with his diet as well as exercise and keeps regular track of his blood pressure on a home bp monitor which have been showing daily readings which are always below 120! His heart Dr has also stopped insisting on him taking medication but decided to do a scan to see if his arteries had any buildup due to the family history. We were so happy and relieved to find the scan showed absolutely nothing in his arteries. I feel that it's all sure to the things mentioned above.

I hear many great things about this product. And that it’s safe and most people don’t experience side effects. However, every time I take the new, vitamin or supplement, I always open the capsule and just take a little dab of it. Anyway, I was taking just about 1/20 of a capsule and increasing a little bit each day for a few days when upon the time I took about a quarter of a capsule I experienced what I could only describe as extreme anxiety and or nervousness, increased heart rate, what felt like possible palpitations I don’t know I’ve never had that before, but I could only describe how I felt. Then I had to run to the bathroom and make a stool. I even went as far as going to the hospital to get my heart checked and my blood pressure and everything showed normal by that time. It only lasted for about an hour the issue, but even the next day I had unusual stool. The moral of the story is, I’m not trying to say this stuff is bad. I hear it works great for many people and I wish it would’ve worked great for me too. However, I am extremely grateful that I only try a little bit at a time before popping a pill completely. So my advice to you is with this and or any other supplement start very slow, open up the capsule and only take a little bit of a capsule on your finger with water. Then each day for a few days, consecutively work your way up to a full capsule, perhaps over the course of a week to make sure it agrees with you.
