Great quality. Perfect for IBS
This is the best Protein I've ever had!! And that's a lot to say!! I've been drinking protein shakes since 2016 and I never found a protein without stevia (I really hate the aftertaste). This one with coconut sugar is the best and is not that sweet so it's perfect. The texture is super creamy and is perfect for my IBS. And you can dissolve this with just a little shake so it's super great!!

Best whey isolate
When buying protein you need quality, pure and tested sources. This is the cleanest whey isolate I have ever had. Mixes instantly with water with one hand gently stiring! Easy to digest, no bloating. Key is to take by itself, don’t blend it and make it full of bubbles. I don’t trust many companies selling proteins due to contamination, animal welfare and real traceable ingredients. Not to mention most proteins are loaded with chemicals, heavy metals and sourced from China . You won’t be disappointed with this company. This is a protein supplement, so take as needed for your body or goal needs. Meaning take this in addition to your daily diet. If you’re using or ingesting something often or for years to come, make it the best and purest. FYI , most studies you read or hear about involving Whey protein, they used whey isolate. Whey concentrated from promix is great too, It has more nutrients and biomarkers but also more fat and cholesterol. I used their vegan pea/rice protein for 2 yrs and it’s delicious, and smoothies than most plant based proteins with no cholesterol. I switched to whey isolate cause of its low sodium level and less chances of heavy metals.

~~ Unflavored but NOT tasteless! ~~
Just because this whey is "unflavored" does NOT mean it is tasteless! If you have never taken a spoonful of whey from plain yogurt, do yourselves a favor and do so! You will realize that this liquid has a taste to it and personally I do NOT like eating it by itself! HOWEVER the whole purpose of me purchasing this whey for the family was so that we could enjoy some nutritious shakes etc. We purposely do not buy flavored whey as we do not want the list of ingredients that comes with it, preferring to add our own. Chocolate, caramel, strawberry...... the choices are limitless. Mix this grass fed whey with some almond or cashew milk, sweetener and flavor of choice plus some ice and you will NEVER know the whey is in there. Trying to drink it by itself? Quit torturing yourself! I researched for many hours and read many reviews before deciding on this GRASS FED Whey Isolate. I knew I was risking it by ordering 5lbs the first time around but decided to do so anyways. What pushed me towards this one? If purchasing beef we like to purchase grass fed as not only do we prefer the taste but also believe it to be better for our health. Yes, I realize that whey does not come from the meat of a cow! We also believe that grass fed milk is better for your health thus deciding on this whey. We have NOT been disappointed! 5lbs is a LOT of whey. It comes in a large plastic bottle with screw on lid. (Sealed on outside and inside for double protection.) Height of bottle is almost 11 1/2" and the diameter at the base is 7 1/4". The bottle is nearly full when it arrives. This whey appears to be a well made, verified product (you can read all the nutritional information in the listing) and we have used it many times. Highly recommended. We purchased this at the full prevailing price. We were not required to write a review but chose to do so. Thanks, Liz

This is my second time buying it. Is clean ingredients and very good taste. Mix well in milk or water. The only thing is that I notice I get pimples every time I drink this . But I happens with other proteins as well. I might be lactose intolerance. But I still consume it

Lower amino acids and requiring a larger scoop. 😡
Once I got it home, I found the flavor to be okay—I’m not disputing that. But I realized that the Naked brand Iso protein has more amino acids per serving. When you compare servings, both brands say that two scoops equal one serving. But when you look at each serving, you’re getting significantly more amino acids from the Naked Whey Iso compared to the Promix. What’s even more confusing is that the Promix scoop is almost twice the size of the Naked scoop. That makes me wonder if there are fillers in it, because I don’t understand why the scoop would need to be so much bigger while delivering fewer amino acids. I don’t think I’ll be buying Promix again. Based on what I’m seeing, the Naked brand Iso offers better value and quality of protein. I’m glad I tried it, but after seeing the scoop size and comparing them side-by-side, I won’t be purchasing Promix again.

Mixes well; not too frothy, good product
I have to trust their labels, so i've not attempted any validation or researching any studies on possible metals etc in the mix. I assume it to be the good, pure whey isolate they claim. I'm on my third canister of unflavored. What I really like about this brand is that it mixes very well. My main consumption is 10 oz mild, two scoops, 1 banana, two big spoonfuls of peanut butter and then either honey or sometimes choc syrup, and then 9 cubes of ice to make up for the rest of the suggested liquid content. I've also done almonds over peanut butter and blueberries instead. With each recipe, you can hardly tell you have whey in there. I also have trouble keeping on weight because i do a fair amount of hitt and running in addition to strength training, hence my desire for a good whey. I've tried the serious mass and other such blends but returned to whey only due to some stomach "pooching" that i experienced w/the serious mass in particular. But this brand is much better imo, even though it's apples and oranges when comparing to something like serious mass. My point there is that this mixes better and no frothing to interfere w/the taste of the shake. I plan to continue using this for a while at least.

The only protein powder that I get!
I've gone through many brands and this is the best protein powder I could find. I wanted something that was 100% pure whey protein isolate powder, that's grass fed and as natural as possible! There are a few brands that do this but they don't usually offer the unflavored option. Unflavored by itself is honestly not too bad. But if you want to add any flavorings like chocolate, you can just add cocoa powder and not have to be subjected to extra sugar or alternative sugars.

If you eat clean, shouldn't your protein be clean too?
If you want your protein that is such a staple of your nutrition regimen to: - Be from cows that have been gnawing on gmo corn or pesticide-laden estrogenic soy that are full of antibiotics, rBST, and are living in filth and/or - Have been partially destroyed with high-heat and/or harsh chemical processing and/or - Be full of unknown chemicals, heavy metals, artificial sweeteners which can cause gut permeability, artificial colors, bleach, gut-irritating sugar alcohols, etc Then, do not buy this product. Buy a more expensive, less effective, and potentially damaging protein from a big box retailer. My wife and I eat very clean and are preparing for physique competitions this spring. We changed everything we were eating and educated ourselves on the damage we had been doing to our bodies. Looking great on the outside is cool but not at the cost of looking ugly inside. That damage will make its way to the surface years down the road and it will be harder to stay purty on the outside. We decided to look for supps without the garbage and this is our first reorder from Promix. We are hooked. We both take about half of scoop of this isolate and half a scoop of Promix Casein upon waking to stop catabolism and begin the day with the right internal anabolic environment. We take a scoop of each prior to work and take another scoop of isolate post workout. We take a scoop of isolate before bed to sync with GH surge of first sleep cycle and take 1.5 to 2 scoops Promix Casein to keep us anabolic thru the night and max out recovery. We take it with water with no flavoring in a shaker bottle and it works out fine. If we are short in calories, we sometimes mix with organic, unsweetened almond or coconut milk. Results already evident in last 30 days. Great growth and recovery. She is 30 and under 14% BF 5 months out. I am 42 and 11% BF 5 months out. Clean eating and clean supps. Neither of us on gear. Strongly recommend Promix.
