Worked for me
This actually worked for us. Maybe we have stupid squirrels with no perseverance, but after putting it on, the squirrels gave up and for probably 3 months now have never attempted to climb the bird feeder pole again, even though they are regularly foraging in the yard and around the base of the feeder.

Don’t buy, they don’t work.
This item is absolutely NOT Squirrel proof. The slinky stretched out so much, it actually helpes the squirrel climb shepherds hook faster.. And by the way, the bird feeders are also supposed to be “squirrel proof “

Keeps the rats and squirrels away
I wish I had known about these sooner! These are perfect for keeping rats and squirrels from scaling up your feeder poles. I haven't seen a rat in my feeder since installing these. We'll worth the money.

Squirrel deterrent
Slinky by itself won’t slow a squirrel down more than a couple of hours. Adding a jug or plastic bottle and WD40 on the pole, did the trick. Put slinky on top to add pressure on the jug. It also made sure the jug fell back to my stop.

Works as shown!
Great product to keep squirrels off the bird feeders. I have a squirrel proof feeder but they would be hanging barely able to hold on but they were persistent! I received this slinky and haven’t seen a squirrel since. Definitely recommend

My squirrels 🐿️ thank you for their new amusement park ride! They love it! And it drops them off at the bird feeder!!

This really works! The squirrels kept eating all the food for the birds, now they can't get up to it lol.

Rusts
Put out recently and following a few heavy periods of rain this product is already brown and rusting even though it appears to be stainless steel. Not sure yet whether it does keep squirrels at bay. So would not buy again
