The Leviton 689-W 15 Amp 1-Gang Recessed Duplex Receptacle exceeded my expectations! Installation was straightforward, and it fits perfectly in standard outlets. The recessed design is a great space-saver, especially for bulky plugs, and it feels very solid and durable—definitely high-quality residential grade. Comes with screws, making setup even easier. Works flawlessly and looks great in my home. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable, well-built outlet!

Really easy to install and it works great on my marble chimney breast. Using it to mount TV close to the wall in front of it. Feels sturdy and fits perfectly in the space that was there from the previous flush outlet. Really good value for money too.

Worked exactly as I hoped. Was looking for some outlets to place behind some night stands and these worked perfectly. They did require deep boxes for fit.

First the product works just fine and I should have envisioned how it was going to (or not) benefit me. The facts are that it didn't help me at all but I kept it because it does work. I probably wouldn't have reviewed it all if I hadn't decided to replace it with a different outlet. At first it looks like you get the benefit of a recessed outlet and two receptacles; yes you do but they are not both usable. If you use a low profile cord, the cord covers the second receptacle (because it is recessed) making it useless. If you use a standard cord, the cord sticks out past the recess of the outlet making the recess feature next to useless. A flush receptacle with low profile cords is what ultimately works for me. Like I said; it works, I just don't see what problem it resolves. I replaced the plug with a standard flush plug today and I'm glad I did because I can plug in two low profile cords now. I upgraded the product to 4 stars because it is very well made. There isn't any reason to downgrade a product because the buyer didn't envision all the aspects of the design...

Great quality and easy to install. Put this behind my washer & dryer so I could get a little more space in my tiny laundry area.

If you’re mounting your TV, this recessed outlet is a must. Keeps the setup flush and clean—no issues at all. Recommended!
