DON'T BE AFRAID TO PURCHASE THIS MIXER! WORTH EVERY DIME!!
I procrastinated purchasing this mixer for MONTHS! It's an off brand and honestly even after reading the stellar reviews everyone was writing, I still couldn't seem to commit. One day I noticed this mixer was on a Lightening Deal for $385.00. That's over $100.00 less than what it has been listed for and I decided right then and there to pull the trigger and purchase it. Fast Forward....That was several weeks ago. The only regret I have in this purchase is I wish I had purchased this sooner. IT IS A POWERHOUSE! My old Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer can not hold a candle to this mixer! Aside from being beautiful to look at, the motor seems more quiet than the KitchenAid and it mixes in record time! I have tripled my cookie dough recipes and this mixer cuts through the stiff dough and no doubt could handle even MORE dough if I decided to go 4x the recipe ingredients. This has cut my time in the kitchen in half. Seriously...IN HALF. Clean up is a breeze and can I just say my "2" favorite things about this mixer( that Kitchenaid missed the mark on ) is the convient timer on the side *it starts up automatically the minute you start your mixer AND there is a light that shines down into your mixing bowl as you are mixing that helps so much to visualize where you are at in the mixing process! GAME CHANGER!! $385.00 for this Mixer is the BEST money I have ever spent! This mixer truly is worth all the hype it is getting. I would encourage anyone who enjoys baking like I do to give yourself this gift. You will NOT regret it and "NO" I am NOT being paid to say this. Big Purchase..."Yes".....Is it worth it....."Absolutely" ! You will have no buyers remorse on this one. I NEVER write Amazon reviews......but this purchase was worth me making an exception.

Sourdough Windowpane!
I'm in love with this machine! I have a smaller model Kitchenaid which works great for most things. But I couldn't do a double batch of bread without the dough climbing up the hook into the machine. Enter the Zacme. This machine has so much power and yet it is so quiet. It has a huge motor and bowl, and it effortlessly mixes my sourdough to a perfect windowpane (if you bake sourdough, you know what that means) without even getting warm. I've used it so far on a regular country loaf and on a higher hydration focaccia bread, both with equal perfection. It is a dream machine, and now I wish I hadn't hesitated to buy it. I haven't used it for other things yet, but it will definitely come in handy for the holidays when making large batches of mashed potatoes, cookies, etc... If you are looking for a large capacity mixer that will knead and mix your dough without breaking a sweat (or your budget) this mixer fits the bill. BTW, the white one goes on sale for $385 often, so keep an eye out for that. I got the green one at $388, which was a fantastic price for a heavy duty mixer. The only con with this machine is that it is very large, twice the size of my Kitchenaid, and so it takes up quite a bit of counter space. But that's to be expected with an 800w motor and 8.4 quart bowl.

PROS & CONS of this mixer
I have had this mixer for a little over 3 weeks, and being an experienced cook & baker, I have to say I am impressed! I got this mixer based on the reviews as well as the spec sheet criteria. I would say unequivocally that this IS NOT a mixer for beginning cooks or inexperienced bakers. This is a heavy duty mixer. I make loaves of bread and dinner rolls, so I need to let the mixer do the kneading of the dough to save my hands/wrists (arthritis). The Kitchen Aid 600 Pro series did great until it started spitting black grease into my dough or batter. Plus it was crazy loud right out of the box. Certainly not one of Kitchen Aidโs finest mixers for the long haul. With that said, this new mixer has exceeded my expectations! I will try to cover the Pros and Cons in this review. PROS: It has a direct drive motor that equals a little over 3/4 hp and is so quiet - even when running on its highest speed! It exceeds the motors on both Kitchen Aid and Ankarsrum high end mixers. It has a fan that runs to keep the motor cool and the air is expelled from underneath the mixer. The fan turns on automatically and shuts off automatically when the mixer has cooled to a certain level to prevent it from getting hot. The fan isnโt loud - but you can feel it moving the air. It has a light that shines INSIDE THE BOWL of the mixer. Ingenious! You can easily see whatโs going on inside the mixer bowl. This is a huge plus. Are you taking notes, Kitchen Aid? It runs super quiet - only 42 db on highest speed (same as a quiet dishwasher) and this is great for our open floor plan house, where our kitchen backs up to the great room. A loud mixer causes my husband to not be able to hear the TV. With this mixer its not an issue! It kneads stiff bread dough without bogging down the motor, and can handle large amounts of dough, too. Just stay within the stated batter limits set in the instruction manual. Double handled SS mixer bowl is a plus over Kitchen Aidโs one handled bowl. The double handles make it easier to use, easier to maneuver about, safer to use without dropping it. Has a digital readout that lets you see exactly how long youโve been mixing or how much longer you need to keep mixing for recipes that say โmix for 2 minโ, etc. You can set the timer for two minutes and walk away to do something else and the mixer will stop automatically at 2 min. Also has a pause feature. The lock keeps the tilthead in the down position and stays locked - no bobbing up & down while mixing - and it keeps the tilthead in the lifted position until you put it back down. I can appreciate this feature. Has a designated handle on the front of the tilthead for ease in lifting or lowering the tilthead as you desire. A nice feature, actually. It is less than half the price of a higher end Kitchen Aid or the Ankarsrum - and it has a more powerful motor than either one by spec sheet comparison. It is also listed as running quieter than the above mixers per user reviews. I can attest that it is markedly quieter than my previous Kitchen Aid 600 Pro series mixer. CONS: This is a direct motor with a little over 3/4 hp. With this kind of power it also means you need to use extra caution while using it - and NEVER carelessly reach into the mixer bowl with this thing running. Running a spatula around the bowl with the mixer running isnโt a good idea either. You can get away with that on other stand mixers - but I wouldnโt advise doing it with this one. The motor is powerful enough to warrant a trip to the E.R. for those who decide not to listen and try it anyway. Just FYI. Please - Do not allow kids to operate this mixer unsupervised. It says that it has a metal housing - but the top part of the tilthead is made of hard plastic. ??? I wouldnโt call that a metal housing - as it is partially plastic. Will this plastic darken or stain over time? I donโt know. Guess Iโll find out the answer to that a few years down the road. Only available in one color - and that is cream. Not a โdeal breakerโ for me - but for others, it might be. It doesnโt have an optional glass mixer bowl for purchase. I did love the glass bowl of my Kitchen Aid 600 Pro series because you could easily see if your ingredients were mixed or if a spatula needed to be run around the bowl. Update: Today is Dec 1, 2025 and I have had this mixer for almost a year now. I LOVE this thing! It still works like a well oiled, smooth running machine - and the plastic housing on the top of the mixer has not stained at all and looks as good as it did the day I took it out of the box. I have made all kinds of stuff with this mixer and every time I start to make something I find Iโm excited to get to use it again! I was showing my daughter itโs finer points over Thanksgiving weekend and when I turned it on so she could hear for herself how quiet it ran even on high speed - her face told it all when her eyebrows shot up in surprise at how quiet it is compared to todayโs mixers. I showed her the light inside the bowl, the timer, the digital readout of time lapsed in mixing and how it simply outshines the KitchenAid stand mixers in nearly all of their models. And itโs far less expensive than any quality mixer out there! Neither the KitchenAid nor the Ankarsrum have a bright LED light that shines into the bowl so you can easily see what is going on in there - Ankarsrum likely never will - where would they put the light when it has no top to speak of? The mixer bowl that came with it has held up beautifully with the heavy use I have given it, too. It goes into the dishwasher and comes out shiny & clean as do the mixer paddles, dough hook & whisk. The double handles on the mixer bowl make it far easier to use. One thing I have learned: the booklet says to knead yeast dough no higher than level 3. Iโve discovered the reason for that is because at the lower setting, it stretches the dough MORE than at the higher settings - which is what helps to build the gluten in the yeast dough. It does not struggle in the least to knead the dough at that setting, so have no fear. All in all - after using this mixer for nearly a year - I have nothing negative to say about it. When was the last time you felt that way about a new appliance you bought?! Plus, it has a better warranty than most all other mixers. Hope this helps you make your decision. ๐

Beats Kitchenaid and Ankarsrum !!
This mixer is simply amazing. I rarely write reviews, but maybe my review will help other people in their research to find a good, strong mixer at a reasonable price. I have a Kitchen Aid and its a good mixer overall, but when it comes to bread dough or pizza dough, its woefully inadequate and will break in time. So I have researched for months to make a informed decision about which mixer to get. I do not bake enough to spring for the multi thousand commercial dough mixers. Nor do I have the space for one. I wanted a mixer that could handle larger amounts of stiff dough, but also be quite great at mixing all other things, incl. creaming butter, whipping cream, batter, etc. Some of the dedicated "dough mixers" do not work well at all when it comes to those things, or they are just to fidgety and complicated. After researching and reading all about Ankarsrum, commercial mixers and so on and forth, I had all but decided on the commercial Kitchen-Aid with the orange cable. I wanted a good "all around" mixer that could handle stiff doughs as well. I didn't think it was the strongest choice and the price made me hesitate. Thats when I came across this Zacme mixer and started researching it. There wasn't a whole lot of info out yet, but what I've seen and read made me look into it deeper. It is incredibly innovative. A light ? Wow...thats awesome and so practical. It runs a fan and cools itself off after working hard! The attachments are solid, heavy and large, no comparing to the flimsy attachments some of the higher priced mixers come with. The mixer itself is a tank !!!! Plus it is quite beautiful to look at as well with its vintage vibe. Everything about it is well thought out The first time I made a stiff dough in it I could have cried happy tears. No more holding down the bucking, steaming and struggling Kitchen Aid as it was trying to throw itself off of the counter in despair.. The Zacme handled it like a pro, and quietly too ! Plus it mixes everything else equally well. And the price? Wow. I got it on sale and it was a bargain !!! Best yet, I was also able to get the meat grinder. I used to use my Kitchen aid with a meat grinder and loved that option. Now I can do that with the Zacme as well, so the Kitchen Aid will be gifted to my daughter who has no interest in baking breads or pizzas, lol! I will now get the smaller bowl as well and I will happily mix away whatever needs mixing. Btw. for the people that are concerned about "support". I have written to customer service several times with question and concerns before I bought this mixer. And I have gotten quick and thorough answers and help every single time. So I do not see a problem there either. I highly recommend this mixer. It does the job better, and at a far better price.

Wonderful mixer for heavy bread doughs like Freshly Milled Flour doughs.
BEST mixer ever! Just buy it! Especially if you make bread with Fresh Milled Flour. Seriously, this is a great mixer. I began making bread with freshly milled flour instead of conventional flour and my old Kitchen Aid just wasn't mixing the dough well. This mixer came up in my search and when comparing it to the other big names in mixers in the bread making world I wasn't going to pass this one up when Amazon put it on sale. The number one thing is the size of the bowl and attachments...they are huge and super sturdy. Just one touch and you will know they are very well made and all stainless steel. You could literally knock someone out with the weight of those attachments (it doesn't come with the regular beater you would use for making things like cookies though which is a bummer, have to order that separately). Second thing I absolutely love is the timer function. With this you can keep track of how long you are mixing your dough and can pause the mixing and restart and the timer can keep track. Along with this is the huge number of speeds this mixer can handle. Even the heavy freshly milled flour doughs I use the mixer usually runs only on speed 2, and it works the dough like butter. I have mixed frosting on the higher speeds with no problems and no mess! which makes this mixer so versatile for my needs. I did have to order the beater for making cookies and cakes, the one that wipes the sides of the bowl. Finally, I can't review this mixer without talking about how quiet it is. You would think that a mixer with this much power would be super loud, but it isn't at all. I have other appliances that are louder. There are a couple negatives for me, which may not be negatives for everyone, so don't let them stop you as they may not be negatives for you. The first I had to be home for delivery, which was not expected for a usual Amazon purchase and was not stated in the listing. It came quick, like next day, but I wasn't expecting to have to be home and wasn't so I had to wait another day even though I really really needed it that day. Second negative is the fact that in order to lift the head it must be unlocked. Which is a great safety feature, but it takes 2 hands to do it. Most of the time I would prefer to just be able to lift the head and do what I need to do. The head is pretty heavy also. Third, is the color. I got the cream color. I do like it. The reason it is a negative for me is the fact that when I ordered the check out process was so quick. Amazon made it so it went to automatic checkout instead of allowing me to choose (even though I probably would have chosen the cream color). Finally, this mixer is tall. It won't fit under my upper cabinets so I am happy I have an area where it will still fit on my counter. It is large though so plan ahead for that. It is not very heavy though so if you want to move it in and out of a cabinet you could easily do that. I think my Kitchen Aid was heavier and clumsier to handle. If you are considering this mixer and comparing it to some of the pricier ones...just buy this one you won't regret it!

Zacme is the most reliable, silent, with light, timer, very good quality materials, easy to clean and maintain and at a very affordable price. I would never choose another brand, I love it!

Better than KA
Jan 2025 - I decided it was time to get a stand mixer that could knead bread and make pasta. I have used and owned KA mixers before, but didn't want to go that route this time, especially when there are much less expensive options, with better features, for similarly powerful motors. I browsed Amazon for several months looking at lots of stand mixers, reading reviews, and looking at various features. The Zacme mixer didn't have a lot of reviews, but I kept coming back to it, and decided to give it a try. Initially, I was going to get the 5 quart for myself for Christmas. Then I discovered that it didn't look like the smaller mixers have the attachment option. I'm not 100% sure about that though. Then, the 8 quart had a sale price that I couldn't resist. So I took the plunge. I ordered the 3-in1 Zacme pasta attachment at the same time. The mixer came today and it is absolutely beautiful! I love the cream color. It fits nicely under my cabinets. It seems to have a lower, but wider footprint than KA equivalent. At low speeds, the mixer makes almost no sound. As the speed goes up, there is more of a motor noise, but IMO it is still much less noisy than KA. The mixer doesn't vibrate, rattle, or struggle. I was on the phone while mixing up pasta dough with the paddle, and the other person didn't have any idea. There is a quiet fan that keeps the motor cool, and it can be running, even if the mixer has been turned off. Here are the features that motivated me to get the 8 qt Zacme. 1. There is a light over the bowl. I love this! It helps with watching the progress of whatever is in the mixer. If you turn off the mixer, it seems to go into a standby mode and the light goes off. 2. I love the speed adjustment dial on the front, which turns smoothly, and just has a good feel to it. 3. The up and down timer is ingenious (if you can't get the mixer to turn on, turn the dial to off, and then back on). 4. The paddle, whisk, and hook are adjustable for bowl clearance, and are good quality. They feel substantial. Nothing that will peel over time. 5. The handle on top. No one else has this handy feature 6. It looks like you can get a 7 quart bowl and scraper paddle that will fit 7. Dishwasher safe paddles and bowl. Not all brands are. 8. Has the potential to be family heirloom mixer The machine is elegant, powerful, smooth, and user friendly. I'm looking forward to mixing up cookies and breads and whipped cream. I'm very happy with my purchase and don't hesitate in recommending this mixer to anyone looking for a solid mixer with very practical features. July 2025 - update. I am still super happy with my zacme mixer. The 8 qt bowl is enormous, but I don't regret it. It handles everything. I've mixed dense bread dough, whipped cream, mashed potatoes, mixed cake batter. Clean up is really easy, as everything goes nicely into the dishwasher. I have no qualms recommending this mixer over the popular KA brand. I think this Zacme is a better quality product

So far so good
This mixer is pretty good so far. I'm a cookie baker and I've only used it a couple of times, but it seems to be able to handle my recipe better than my kitchen aid. I love the timer feature and how quiet it is. The levels of speed are nice as well.

Do the job ๐
Powerful, sturdy, well made, very quiet and do the job easily. Bought an Ank recently and had difficulty to manoeuvre it and the dough was not very smooth, every time. Itโs now in the basement. The Zacme works like a charm and dough is perfect! Very happy with purchase. Would recommend. Thanks.

Fantastic Machine!
I searched for almost a year before deciding to purchase this unit. I have only used it twice so far, so we will have to see how the longevity is, but so far I am in love! I needed a machine that could handle multiple batches of dough at once, and this one definitely does the job. This machine runs very quiet. The only sound is a small fan noise to keep the motor cool. So much quieter than my Kitchen Aid machine. The timer function is very handy - set a time and walk away- the mixer will stop when the timer ends (there is also a pause feature). The twist into place bowl and tilt head are also fantastic. The machine is light enough to be stored elsewhere and carried to the counter when needed. It has suction cups that keep it secure on the counter. The dough hook, paddle and whisk are heavy, quality pieces.

Fantastic mixer for the price!
I had to replace my kitchen aid mixer and it felt like I was replacing them every 3-4 years with a more professional model yet they were not lasting any longer. After reading reviews I decided to take a chance on this one - it's bigger than my kitchen aid and I thought it might be better for bread dough. I love it. It is so quiet but powerful. I make dough all the time and use my mixer to kneed the dough - having a timer on the mixer itself to mix for exactly 10 minutes and then stop is a game changer! I wish the paddle scraped more of the edges but honestly I haven't had a single mixer that does that.

To mix or not to mix?
I absolutely love everything about this mixer! It's surprisingly quiet, easy to use, and very easy to clean. I was expecting it to be much heavier, but it's lightweight enough to move around without any trouble. It comes with great attachments and several useful features that make baking and mixing so much easier. This has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances, and I would definitely recommend it.
