Superb!
Pena tinned sardines may cost a tad more ... but they are delicious!

Superb tasting sardines but sadly overpriced
I love canned sardines and I am always on the lookout to try new brands. I prefer sardines over tuna for its health benefits without the strong 'fishy' smell of tuna. I bought the Ramon Pena sardines after watching a very positive YouTube review. The sardines are of excellent quality with just the right amount of firmness. The portion size is just right. The sauce it is packed in is quite mild. I couldn't get even a hint of wine mentioned in the ingredients list. In spite of all the positive things, I am assigning only 4 stars mainly due to the price. Nuri, Brunswick, KIng Oscar are some of my favorites. Those cost less than half the price of this Ramon Pena brand. As much as I loved these sardines, I can't justify in my mind the cost.

One and Done 🙁
These sardines are AMAZING! Unfortunately, at $14.00/can, my curiosity has been satisfied and this will remain a one-time purchase.

A Nice Change
I've been eating sardines since I was a little squirt (all my life). I always went for sardines in oil because I thought it was the best option between mustard and hot sauce. I recently discovered that some people have been exposed to the various ways sardines are prepared and cooked. Because of them, I'm beginning to explore new options. These were a nice change from the norm. I would purchase these again.
