Great way to get kids thinking harder
I got this for my 5th grader for use in our homeschool. She does about 1 or twice a week. I guess some may say its too easy for a 5th grader or too hard but each kid is different. For mine this is just hard enough to get her thinking. I will be getting the 6th grade one for next year.

Great activities for growing minds
We're using this in my Fifth grader's homeschooling rotation, doing one page most days. She looks forward to it, and enjoys the variety of questions. I appreciate how it encourages her to use her mind in different ways, and approach a topic from many perspectives. I would have loved to use this series in her younger years, but I'm glad to have found it now!

Fun To Do
I bought this for my ten year old grand daughter who is in fourth grade. At first I thought the activities might be too much like a school workbook format, but she has really enjoyed going through the various topics and their activities Over all I believe they did encourage her to think at higher levels as promised.

More like a grade 3/4 practice book
These activities are way too simple for Grade 5. More like a grade 3/4 practice book. But given the price, one can find better choices. Not recommended.
