It loses stars because although the product is very good for you, it is beneficial to both men and women, not just for men, and it did not come with the claimed 'Free High Strength Ashwagandha 2900mg with Every Pack." It is also expensive, although a small jar does go a long way. If you've never taken this before it is an acquired taste, it has the look and texture of Marmite but tastes likes like shilajit. More akin to rotted vegetation mixed in with some dirt.

I'm quite a fan of Shilajit and, whether or not it really does mitigate my aching joints, bone density or cognitive functions, I'm not entirely convinced, but I definitely feel a buzz and energy boost after taking a dose. That's why I avoid taking Shilajit at bedtime. In the morning, I dissolve a dose - measured with the little spoon provided, into my green tea. It dissolves quite quickly, but does give your tea a bitter taste that takes a bit of getting used to. It does feel good though and I can head off to work with a spring in my step! This particular brand - Real Men , seems marginally less viscous than the previous one I tried, which makes it easier to dig out a pea-sized portion. It has a very similar strong taste (think of old lino in a mothball factory) and seems every bit as good. This brand is a bit pricier than my previous one. If you use it 4 or 5 times a week, this equates to two to three months' supply and so is pretty good value.
