Amazing!!!
Original Review: For years, I only used the "clinical strength" deodorant/antiperspirant. I thought I wasn't supposed to sweat at all, so I bought the expensive crap. It worked pretty well but I started learning about harmful chemicals found in hygiene products and deodorant seemed to be chock full of them!!! I was at a crossroads. I knew I couldn't have stinky or sweaty pits but I didn't want my body to be absorbing toxic chemicals either. I started my journey for a natural deodorant. I tried 4 store-bought brands with terrible results for every single one! Some made my armpits break out, some required more applications than I had time to even THINK about (let alone do), and some just straight-up left me stinky to the point where I couldn't even believe I smeared anything on them that day. I found the green tidings brand while doing a very intense internet search for deodorant. The top review, written by the tennis-playing man, had me curious. I figured I would try out one tube of the stuff to see if it lived up to its fancy reviews. My first observations: 1) wow, the lavender-scented one REALLY smells like lavender. Great for people that LOVE the smell of actual lavender, not so great for people that don't want to smell like a hippie. For the record, I love it. 2) It didn't really keep me from sweating all together (which I have learned now is a GOOD THING) but I so sweat significantly less than I did while using other natural brands 3) IT WORKS! I mean it! I don't stink when I use this stuff!!! 4) my husband (who is a very stinky man when he doesn't take proper precautions) used it and also fell in love. We now order the 3 packs and don't ever want to think about trying a different brand. Even the "negatives" about this product really aren't negatives. Just things that come with the product... 1) it's more expensive than the chemical-laden sticks at the drug store (but it's worth the extra dollars) 2) if you have a husband who loves to keep the house freezing cold, it may take a few passes over your skin before any of the product comes out. It's made with coconut oil so it hardens up when it's cold (buuuut I'm not mad about it because it's an easy thing to just rub the tube a few extra strokes AND I would rather have solid coconut oil for deodorant than aluminum. Any day.) In short, this is a fantastic natural deodorant. I prefer it to clinical strength brands. It's just as good, in fact, better (no harmful chemicals!!!) You should buy it. ---------------EDIT--------------- I have had to stop using this deodorant. After about a year and a half or two years of everyday use and excellent results, I began getting red, painful bumps on my underarms. I did a lot of trial and error to see what the cause was, and unfortunately, it was this deodorant. I even tried an "armpit detox" with activated charcoal and apple cider vinegar, as I found suggested online. Even after about 4 months of no use, I tried it again, only to have the same bumps come back. I am so confused about why I could use it for so long with no side effects and then suddenly, I had problems.

Best deoderant I've used...and I've tried them all, both natural and not
I've never written a review for a product I've purchased but this product definitely deserves recognition. I have tried many different types of natural deoderants from Toms, Jason, Alvera, and mineral salts. None of those kept sweat odor away all day, a couple hours after applying my underarms would smell like BO. I wouldn't consider myself a person that sweats excessively however my job is very stressful and I do sweat because of it. After trying several natural deoderants I went back to regular deoderants. I tried Mitchum, dove, secret, and clinical strength deoderants. None of them gave me all day odor protection. By the end of the day I'd smell like a fake flower scent and BO lol. I purchased the Greem Tidings deoderant not expecting much from it. I was pretty blown away by it the first day I used it. I had a regular stressful day at work and the usual amount of sweating because of it. At the end of the day there was absolutely no BO smell. I am seriously not exaggerating this, my underarms smelled like lavender only snd zero BO. I've ordered more and plan to use it for the rest of my life. The only complaints I would have about the deoderant is that the oils in can stain your shirt. I have to wear a white button down shirt for work everyday and if I sweat I get really yellow sweat stains. Any other deoderant I used I wouldn't get yellow stains so I know it's not my sweat. However if I spray some stain remover on it and wash it, the stain comes completely out and there is no left over stain. So I won't compain too much about that part because it doesn't ruin the shirt. I dont have any other complaints about the deoderant except that it isn't an antiperspirant but I'm absolutely ok with that since I avoid the harmful chemicals. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone, it is incredible. There are some reviews about the lavendar smell being pungent but I wouldn't agree with that. I think it smells good. I could see it being pungent if you applied a lot on. However I found that I only use a very little bit and it keeps my underarms smelling good all day and it's not pungent. I actually end up applying a lot less deoderant using this one than when I used a regular deoderant/antiperspirant. Some of the other reviews did complain about using up the deoderant really fast but in my case it will probably take me a long time to get through one stick because I apply such a small amount. Again though, you would go through it fast if you applied a lot. So overall I give this five stars even though you do get yellow pit stains (it does come out in the wash). This is the best deoderant I have ever used and I will continue using! Over a year update: I'm am still using this deodorant everyday. It does a great job of odor protection. After a long day of work or after working out, my underarms only smell like lavender or no smell at all. I've been using this deodorant for several years now and I'd be very reluctant to try something different since this one works so well. As stated above, I have tried almost every other deodorant/antiperspirant (natural and chemical ones) out there and this is the one I keep coming back to after failed attempts. I really don't have any complaints about this deodorant. My white shirts I wear every day for work do not have armpit stains on them and I've been wearing them for over a year and a half now. The smell is pleasant and I've had people tell me they like the smell of it. One stick will last me 8 months. It really doesn't take much application for oder coverage all day. I've also noticed that the shea butter and coconut oil help with razor burn after shaving. I travel a lot for work also and their travel size is perfect. Overall, I would still highly recommend this product to anyone.

THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!
I have to say, that I usually do not write reviews on products. However I feel that this is one that has completely deemed it self 100% worthy of my time. Of course I read the copious amounts of reviews but I also like to have my own personal perspective on any product that I choose to use. I purchased this product because I recently started drinking a lot more wine, working out more, and eating clean. I also usually make my own deodorant, toothpaste, lotions etc. so buying this product was out of the norm for me, but I thought that it was necessary. No other deodorant seems to be able to hold the sweet odor that I produce. For some reason or other I actually produce a slight sweet red wine musky smell. For me I don't like it, however most of the people I know say they can't tell. Lies. AnyWho, nothing had seem to work for me at all. I tried just about every natural product that I could find on the shelves and all it did was basically makes funk with lavender and Teatree oil. That was not OK, and that is completely not sexy as a lady. The shipping for this product was relatively quick. I have Amazon prime so the product came into days. I took three photos of the packaging as it is packaged very very well. After unpackaging the item there is a leaflet inside that explains a little bit more about the product, not very much but just enough to give you a little bit about the company and the product. I have to say when I first got it I opened it up and put it on three swipes her arm, I did this at least 2 1/2 hours before going to the gym. A little bit goes a long way. I believe that this product has coconut oil in it so of course it warms to room temperature. With that being said doing more than one swipe will cause build up under your arms that can dry and have a clumpy affect. So I would personally recommend one swipe because anymore you'll be wasting the product because it the way that it melts to human temperature. I have to say that I immediately noticed no odor what so ever! I cannot believe that this year and actually mask the odor 100%. There was not even a hint of odor left at all. I had no rash no issues no itching no nothing. This product is absolutely so amazing, that I was able to not even have to wear the next Day after showering. I'm not exactly sure what's in it but whatever it is it is so amazing, that after the first day wearing this and it does wash off in the shower. There is no leftover residue. After wearing mess that I don't need to wear it every day. It is that good! I highly recommend this for anyone who has odor issues because I have yet to find anything natural at all and I seriously mean that, at all. Nothing over the shelf works. And I absolutely refuse to use the chemical induced deodorants that they have at local stores. This is the absolute best thing I have ever found and I will highly recommend this to anyone with odor issues, and anyone who wants something natural and does the damn job the right way!! I will be a long time, and lifetime proud supporter and purchaser of this product. As far as my order level I would rated on a very very low scale so for instants I work out four days out of my week, and I don't sweat a lot but I do sweat. So on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate my order level on a bout a 2 1/2. Thank you thank you thank you thank you and I can't say thank you enough for making such an amazing product and I really really hope that everyone tries this because I was completely blown back and I will always buy this product. The reviews say it alone I've never seen anything with this many reviews before and there is a reason why. You guys are absolutely amazing buy this product!

Burned & left dark spots on my armpits
This is the letter i sent directly to the company: I read some of the reviews before purchasing this product. Sweat and smell has been my problem. I tried almost everything available in stores, they do help a little bit but sweating and smell is still there just being masked by the deodorant scent of the product I am using. I was hopeful that this product, given it is organic and natural would solve my problem. But no! Not only that, it burned my skin. I saw that picture on amazon review where the lady who used it got skin rash and her skin was red/burned due to using your product. In my mind, maybe she has a sensitive skin & I don't so maybe I should give this a try. I pretty much tried everything on my skin with any product on the market with no problem not until I tried yours. I do not have any allergies. So I that is not the issue. It is the ingredients you have on this product that cause the redness on my skin with burning and itchy sensation. I only had this for 2 weeks now. I used it intermittently hoping eventually the redness would go away, but it did not. So now, today is the 3rd day that I stopped using your product. The redness is still there but its getting better. It is still itchy but no longer burning. And oh, by the way, it does not get rid of the smell, just like the other products in the market that I tried, is just masks the smell. It does not keep me dry at all. I think I'll just stick w/ deo spray that I can get from walmart, at least, that keeps me dry for at least 10hrs. Keeps me odor free for at least 8 hrs. I only tried this because I am tired of trying different things out there and wanted to just stick with one product. Your Green Tidings product seemed to be a good one but apparently, it is NOT. After sending this email directly to the compay,i was advised to use apple cider vinegar with one cup of distilled water and spritz onto my armpits. They provided detailed instructions on what to do which they also included on the purchased product. However, all those instructions does not make sense to me. Whatโs the purpose of buying this product if you are instructing me to use other products/remedy/alternative on my armpits? So i went to the store and searched again for another product to use. I baught alum and used it instead. The cheapest product that worked so well after trying multiple pruducts. So do not buy green tidings product. Waste of money!

Delighted with it so far!
Original review, April 29th, 2015: For those trying to live a non-toxic lifestyle, deodorant always seems to be the one toxic product you're stuck with. Sure you can get aluminum-free versions at various health food stores, but the "natural" ones that work still have ingredients like propylene glycol and various stearate-type ingredients. And the truly non-toxic deodorants that I've purchased from health food stores haven't really worked to my satisfaction. Enter Green Tidings. I'm about three weeks into using the 1 oz lavender stick, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. There was one review I read whose author only had a so-so experience with Green Tidings, but cautioned that deodorant seems to be one of those things that's very dependent on your particular body chemistry. I think this is probably true, which is why not ALL reviewers have had good experiences with this deodorant. However, based on my own experience and reading the overwhelming number of positive reviews, I'd venture that Green Tidings has managed to come up with a combination of non-toxic ingredients that seems to work well with the vast majority of human bodies out there. This has been my experience: it definitely holds up for at least 12 hours for me, and it does a pretty impressive job of deodorizing. Like other reviewers out there, I've been doing discreet sniff tests whenever I can throughout the day, and so far I haven't caught even a faint whiff of sweaty BO. On a recent 80 degree spring day, I rode my bike both to and from school (about 4 miles each way, lots of uphill) - I got pretty sweaty, but even after I got home, there was still no hint of unpleasant odor. As far as texture goes, it CAN go on a little crumbly, depending on how vigorously or with how much pressure you apply it (this could also be a sign of over application). But if there are little crumbly bits on your skin, you can massage it evenly into your underarm area - it will massage in like a nice lotion. Overall, I'm very impressed. It's certainly expensive, but it seems to be worth it. If the Amazon reviews are any indication, this company is probably doing tons of business right now. I have a slight worry that as sales increase and the company grows, that it might someday be tempted to change this formula to cut costs and increase profits. I hope this never happens, because what they've got going on right now is a winning formula, and I love it. Update, August 23rd, 2015: I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 4 stars - I still really like this deodorant, but it seems to be interacting with my own body chemistry a bit strangely. There's this tiny open wound under my left arm that seems to start closing up when I skip wearing this deodorant, but wants to open back up when I wear the deodorant. Also, when I use this deodorant (versus when I skip wearing it for a day or two), this wound tends to itch pretty badly. So for right now, I'm taking a break from it and am going to try out a homemade deodorant for a couple weeks. Also, when I first posted this review, I wasn't aware that the 25% discount the company was offering was for a *5 star* review. I hadn't read their email that closely, and I thought that they were just looking for honest feedback, period. Even though they emphasize that they want it to be an honest review... it still feels a bit skeezy to me.

Safe, gentle and effective... but not the most affordable for Canadian customers
I've been using the .75 oz unscented version regularly for about two weeks now, and have been very pleased. When I first received it and looked at it, the consistency appeared hard and dry. However upon application, the product had a smooth and creamy texture. Although there was a recommendation to wait a few hours after shaving to apply, the first time I tried the deodorant happened to be shortly after shaving, and fortunately there was no irritation. I have since used it a few times after shaving, and under these and normal circumstances, the product has been gentle. Although this is supposed to be unscented, I might use 'no added scent' as a description instead because I can't say it is without any scent. My impression is that the organic coconut oil, which is the first ingredient on the list, also doubles as a natural scent. It isn't overwhelming though, and doesn't personally bother me. I wasn't sure the first couple of days but it didn't take long to see that this deodorant was effective at keeping me odor-free. I apply it once a day. It has an off-white/light beige color and goes on clear. I have tried at least four natural deodorants (including this one) and Green Tidings is my favorite. If I had to choose a deodorant it is comparable to, I would say Schmidt's in terms of the ingredients and efficacy, but this one feels more gentle, with a smoother, easier application. The product is also slightly better priced if buying the 2 oz, and it seems you save if buying the 3-pack. There is a lot to like about this product: it is non-toxic, cruelty-free, non-irritating and it works. But I have two gripes, neither having to do with the quality of the product itself. The first has to do with the actual applicator tube. I like the format - a little bit like a large lip balm container - but unlike with lip balm, screwing the lid/top back on causes some of the product to go over the edges and into the lid's ridges, which in turn causes it to be a bit messy and wasteful. The simple fix might be to always lower the deodorant back down before screwing on the lid. I will try that to see if it helps and will update here. My review was going to be almost all positive, but then I examined another aspect more closely. The second issue is one that I have no control over and it is with regard to the shipping cost. I would like to say it is affordable but unfortunately I paid more for shipping than the actual product based on my location (Canada) so instead of costing $5.99, I paid $15.99 ($10 shipping) for .75 oz. It seems it would be the same through their website. I tried adding three of the .75 oz to my cart on their site to see if it would make it more worthwhile than ordering just one, but the shipping price increased to $15, which was nearly the price of the order itself ($17.97). Sadly, this is a problem for me. If the shipping cost is nearly the equivalent, or more, than the order itself, it defeats the purpose. For those of you in the US, the shipping cost will be more reasonable. I am really happy I stumbled upon this product on Amazon and felt excited to share my review here and to share the product with loved ones, but I can't help but consider the overall price. Excluding shipping cost, I'm not sure how long the product will last and so it is difficult for me at this point to judge the cost based on the quantity and length of use.

Pros and cons
I WANT to love this product. I like the smell and it so far - mostly - controls odor well. I have only been using it a few days so I will come back and update my review when I've used it longer. So far I have no irritation and it seems to control odor almost as well as regular deodorant. What I do like about it is, there is none of the yucky synthetic smell that I used to dislike about regular deodorant, I used to use secret solid and it left a strong deodorant scent on my clothing and I didn't like it, no matter which scent I tried. The reason I only gave this deodorant three stars is because it stained my shirt with oil. That could be because I reapplied it later in the day, but I reapplied it because I needed a little more of it. I have taken to showering again in the evening and applying the deodorant for overnight too. It is possible I'm going through that detox they talk about online when you switch to natural deoderant, also perhaps I should have rubbed in the deoderant better or something so it wouldn't stain my shirt. Which is why I will come back in another couple of weeks to see if the deodorant is great. I hope so because I really like it, however it is also overpriced. I am considering making my own at home because I have found online recipes that are pretty much the same exact ingredients. So three stars for a good scent, and a nice natural product which is surprisingly effective. Deducting two stars for it being overpriced, for imperfect odor control (although the jury is still out on that one so I'm not closing my mind to it working better as time passes) but mainly for the ruining of my shirt with oil stains in the armpits, and the very high price of the product. Luckily it was not one of my more expensive shirts or I would've been really mad! It was a casual shirt so while I was a bit annoyed, it's not the end of the world. I will not use this with any of my nicer shirts until I figure out how prevent that from happening again.

Tried and tested under harsh conditions. Worked GREAT!!!
I've been on the search for a natural deodorant for the past two years. I've tried all kinds of retail and mom-and-pop brands. I've even bought deodorants at farmer's markets and craft fairs. The best for me, up until now, was Arm and Hammer Naturals. But, even Arm and Hammer had to be reapplied throughout the day and could not handle a stressful work day or long workout. So, I'm going on a trip to China. Everyone who has gone before me warns me about the heat and humidity. They warn that no deodorant will last through 24 hours on a plane and then the heat of our arrival city. Scared, I search Amazon on yet another quest for deodorant and even consider going back to "clinical" strength products. On a whim more than anything I order Green Tidings Unscented. I was curious to try a coconut based deodorant because a lot of home cleaning products that I own that are coconut derived are really good. Long story short, I tried the small sample size in the week before my China trip and I was impressed right off the bat. No odor, irritation, or white marks on my clothes. I chance using it on the plane to China. It worked like a gem. Then in my two weeks in China, while all the other men and women were lamenting how smelly and sweaty they were--I was sweaty, but not smelly. And it was hot, humid, stressful, and we walked for miles each day (I even lost ten pounds!) In fact, I've never had so many people (men and women) ask me what kind of deodorant I was using. As soon as I got back to the USA I ordered the large size tube. As long as this keeps performing, I won't ever go back. A few points: 1)This is a deodorant, not an antipersperant. You will still sweat, which is healthy and normal. Although, I feel like it does block a good amount of sweat. 2) Using less is more. It will get on your clothes and build up if you use a lot. Plus, using less works better for me. 3) Don't let it melt in the heat. I left it near my curling iron and it got a little melty. Still works fine. 4)I only ordered the Unscented. And weirdly, it is truly unscented.
