Printed and burned with no errors. This has a full face, matte finish on the CD. Colors come out good, but not great. After drying, the ink did not smear. This is the version of Verbatim's printable white CD with the largest possible printing area. If you create original artwork and print your own discs, this can make a big difference. This item is prefect for any band or artist that is trying to get themselves out there. Print up a bunch of these out and hand them out to people. I've been using them for my business of DJing and so far people have been telling me that the quality build of these item are great. I haven't had one give me scratches for breaks during my playback of these disks. Get yourselves out there and make a name for yourself. We only live one life so we might as well be pursuing our dreams! I would definitely be buying these again, Good price and fast shipping.

Print quality on label side looks really good when done—pro quality! We were shocked at the results. We had no burn errors when using them. Packaging and storage spindle is good quality and feels sturdy. A great set if you have need of optical media.

I prefer white surface CD-R's over branded surface CD-R's because writing info on the CD looks much better and the full surface is usable. However, there are two distinct types of this type of CD-R that Verbatim sells. The one with the white surface that includes the center hub portion (this listing) has a slightly rougher surface, while the other style leaves the hub portion clear and has a smoother, semi-gloss surface. I'm not sure of the difference if your application involves ink jet printing on the CD as I have no experience with that yet. However, if you are using Sharpies to write on these, the difference is stark. Sharpie writing on the rougher surface CD looks like a Sharpie running out of ink and frankly looks terrible. On the glossier surface, clear hub CD-R, Sharpies look excellent. It took me awhile to figure this out as I've been going back and forth between these two types of CD-R for awhile before finally realizing this. My preference is the Verbatim White CD-R. That is how it's branded on the clear hub. I did a search on Amazon and instantly found this. Comes in a plastic spindle with a plastic casing that is wrapped with Verbatim info. I buy them in 100 unit amounts and this particular setup claims a 100 year archival life. I find Verbatim CD-R's to be of superb quality with almost no duds. I use professional Tascam CD Recorders that record in real time as well as pro duplicators. I definitely vouch for the quality of Verbatim CD's. Now if someone would make a machine to make simple, fast labels directly on CD's that look excellent and have a variety of type styles and colors (without going to a computer) I'd be real happy.

I've ordered this product several times. They discs seem well made and the clear white face is helpful for writing titles or other identifying features. Also, if you want to apply your own labels you don't need worry about text and logos printed on the discs themselves (as is the case with other discs), as these have plain white faces. As for details such as storage capacity, burn speed, and ease of use, everything is as described in the listing itself.

Because of a new inkjet printer (Epson XP-820), I've printed artwork directly onto the CDs. As intended with this product. Haven't played them in a CD player yet, but before I do, wanted to check for potential problems. I know any CD player gets pretty warm and when CDs are ejected, they can be quite warm. Would this heat have any effect on the CD, print side or otherwise? Whether it's an inkjet or laser printer, you're still dealing with toner. As opposed to printer's ink when you buy one commercially. Any advice, caveats or problems? Printer instructions suggest letting ink dry for at least 24 hours. I've done that and more. As for the quality of Verbatim CDs, used them many times before. They're great. But never used the printable ones. Three stars until I hear from someone/or actually play them. If all's OK, it'll be five stars for sure. I'm amending my "three-star" review. Now, it gets a five. I have used Verbatim recordable CDs for years. I have found them to be the best. However, I've not used the version that allows printing labels. I was waiting for feedback on how they recorded ... as well as how they printed. Didn't get any. So I've played several of my home recording CDs, with printed labels, and ... they work just fine. Same ole Verbatim quality, but now with the printed labels. Gives them a very professional look and retains that great audio sound. Five stars!

These are DataLifePlus disks, which are my standard. I have used these by the hundreds for many years. Using an ordinary computer disk burner, I've never had a bad burn. I've never had any data loss or detectable deterioration in years of storage. I tested a bunch of them, leaving them in strong sun in my car over the summer. I couldn't detect any deterioration or data loss. They take inkjet printing well. These disks, which you can get in boxes of 100, offer slower recording speed than some other DataLifePlus disks from Verbatim. Otherwise I'm not aware of any difference.

Excellent discs, recording and print exceedingly good. As for longevity, I should live so long. Only down side is the price.

Eventhough CDs are good but always I get damaged casing of CDs

The discs are good. And overall I find this brand to be one of the best and most reliable. I don't know if they last any longer than other brands though. Some very good brands I've bought in the past now have disk rot and some not so good brands don't. Some not so good brands do. So there isn't a lot of sense or reason in that respect. This is the first time I've used and purchased the white top version of printable CDs. In the past I've used Verbatim's silver top printable CDs. I wanted the white top version to bring out the designs better because some of the ones I did were pretty faint. The white tops solved that issue. The problem I now have it that since these are edge to edge printable, the aspect ratio of my CD designs are off. Burnt a few coasters to find out. So I will give everyone the benefit of the info so nobody else has to waste any discs to find this out. Inner disc print ratio for these discs should be 22 mm in order to not have a white inner border, in order to get the actual edge to edge effect. Inner diameter for silver discs is 46 mm in order to print to the edge of those discs. Outer diameter for both types is 117 mm. Namely, instead to printing right to the edge of the disc, the designs - because the template is set for the standard CD label size - leaves a stupid white circle in the middle instead of printing the design right to the edge. I can adjust the print aspect ratio or whatever it's called to print closer, but rather than waste a 100 pack of discs trying to figure this out, I would ask if anyone knows the proper setting in millimeters for using these particular discs. You would expect there would be info on this listed, but I can't find anything.
