iHome iBT232 Bluetooth Dual Alarm FM Clock Radio with Speakerphone and USB Charging -Gray (Newest Model)

I had an older version of an iHome Clock radio that cost me Twice as much as this one. I was happy with it, had it for a few years, but the on/off button got stuck, so I decided to look for another radio. I decided on this one, and have no regrets. The sound is very nice, for a clock radio. The size is nice and small, which is what I was looking for, so it doesn't take up much room. Looks modern too, just like the picture. I didn't find it difficult to set the presets or alarm after reading the instructions. Very happy with this, and wouldn't hesitate to order again. Thank You!

I had to write a review because I simply can’t understand why there are so many bad reviews for this product. I LOVE this clock! It was exactly what I was looking for. I did a bunch of research on several different clocks because I wanted something that fit in with my decor, and not just some huge black plastic paperweight sitting on my nightstand. I settled on this clock radio and I am very happy with my choice. It’s small so it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the nightstand, but it’s also aesthetically pleasing. It has a dimmer for the display which I love. I have it on the lowest setting and can still easily read the time. It can also turn the display completely off if you’re the type of person who doesn’t want any light when they sleep. It also has a USB port which was important to me so I could charge my phone at night. Having it all in one keeps the nightstand looking clean without wires going everywhere. There is one negative that I will say: the buttons are a little bit hard to get the hang of when first setting up the clock. With that being said, if you have enough patience to read the instructions step by step, the process becomes clear. And after a few days of using the clock, the buttons become second hand. Overall, I am super pleased with the clock. I’ve had it for about a month. If any issues develop, I will update my review, but I don’t foresee that happening.

The sound is just fine..much better than most. The time is easy to set. The numbers are easy to read and it is an attractive clock. The problem is the radio station pre-sets!! No matter what I try..the radio will not make P1, P2, etc set to the stations I want. It seems to want to set up its own stations. I have set up pre-sets on radios with no problem before...there is something very weird about this one. I have looked at on-line help and I am following the directions in the manual and videos---but still have not had success. I ordered a second radio to see if it was just the one I purchased...but same problem.

I got this alarm is to replace those traditional alarm with those traditional beep beep wake up. Dual alarm is good but I wish I can customize it using a mobile apps instead of moving to it. Its like, I need to set the alarm by pulling it towards me and then change whatever timing. If the apps works, it will be even a better deal. I don't wish to depend on mobile devices to wake me up. I prefer the real alarm which I can wake up with whatever music I set it on You can wake up with some techno or trance or even sentimental/classical. Thats the strength of using a bluetooth to pair to something. I will really highly recommend it if the mobile apps is with this device. Partly to me, sometimes firmware or some software on hardware is good so that it can give me more midi to wake up to etc.

This is the second alarm clock I am returning. I am looking for a clock that allows me to wake up to my music via bluetooth that has a dimmable display...that's it. It's been very hard to find. This unit is bluetooth-enabled and sounds pretty good but it's WAY too bright! I like to be able to see the time at night/in the morning but don't want a bright blue light illuminating my room as I sleep. This unit is dimmable but the lowest setting is still very bright plus the top buttons also illuminate so it's blue light both facing up and out. I tried draping a bandana over the top buttons which helped but the clock numbers are still bright (and annoying in the morning when I'm trying to find snooze). When you turn the display off, the top button lights also go off but then the whole unit is dark. Back it goes and I'm still on the hunt for my perfect alarm clock!

The clock is stylish and sleek. The sound quality is great. The numbers (display) are dimmable or you can have them hidden while the clock is still on so they aren’t too bright at night. The frustrating part is there are so many options for programming that it is difficult to program the alarm. I’m still not sure I’m doing it correctly each time. If you want a simple alarm clock this is not for you. If you want a beautiful alarm clock, that doubles as a speaker and you are patient enough to read the instructions a few times this clock is a perfect match.

Product arrived and DID NOT WORK. The speaker was faulty and dropped in and out every other word and made weird clicking sound. I explained to Amazing Deals online and they said it was a manufacturer issue and essentially not their problem (even though they were the ones who took my money). Provided no help whatsoever despite me sending many emails to them to try and find a solution. I would never write a negative review unless it is deserved but feel people should be warned about this company

Its clock functions and chime tones work well for an alarm clock. I had hoped the larger size would have improved the sound but alas. Reminds me of sixties transistor radios. When iHome made products for the iPod they focused on sound quality having sound enhancements like SRS which made them sound great! Integrating to phone technology they dumped the sound quality focus. Disappointing. The bluetooth connections are flaky as well. I have an older model and it is solid, another model I have from the era of this one is what motivated me to buy this “better” one. It’s not better though, the flaky connection exists. I am done with iHome products. They were fairly good back in the 32 pin iPod days but have gone downhill since. Fortunately this one was for sale for a cheap price and for just an alarm clock yeah that bit is OK.

The FM radio automatically tunes to your pre-set stations. This means no more fiddling with dial-tuners! Option to set 2 alarms (possibly one for weekday and one for weekend). There are 4 settings for screen brightness. You can turn the screen off before bedtime (with alarm set) if light bothers you while you sleep, and it will turn on when the alarm goes off. Speaker quality is better than expected. Worth. Highly Recommend !

I’m using it for several months now and I don’t have a problem with it. Really excellent choice.

I bought this for my children's bedroom, and it does everything we need it to do. - Great alarm that we can set for Mon-Fri only. - Nice clear digital display, that you can dim. - The bluetooth function is also great, so they can use it as a speaker, too. - It's nice and compact, but sounds great. It is an FM radio, so tuning was a bit of a pain, but a bit of fiddling with the wire aerial, and the sound is good enough for what we use it for.

Article au top! Facile à programmer, très joli, discret mais design... Fait à la fois enceinte bluetooth, radio, lecteur auxiliaire via jack et enfin réveil avec 2 réglages possibles (ex : 2 horaires en semaine ou 2 horaires un pour la semaine et un pour le week-end). Un excellent produit!
