Bonnlo Kayak Cart Canoe Dolly Fishing Kayak Accessories Carrier Foldable Paddle Board Trolley Boat Trailer Transport with NO-Flat Airless Tires Wheels and 2 Ratchet Straps

Purchased these to bring our kayaks down to our local lake. They work great. The only drawback is the ratcheted straps. They were very difficult to get the hang of and the instructions weren't much help and had some typos (which we actually found quite funny, see photo). It's not so much the putting on of the ratchets as the releasing them. They don't come off real easily. Otherwise they are great. Note, make sure you tie them down really tightly as one slipped off when it wasn't tight enough.

These work great. I had some others before, similar but not the same. My old ones had no straps, so I used one rope for the front support and a 2nd rope to keep the kayak from pulling forward off the cart. The 2nd rope was very important. It was tied to the front hole of the kayak where the handle was attached. It went from that point along the top of the kayak to and tied to the rope holding the cart on. This 2nd rope made it impossible for the rope holding the cart on the kayak to slip back toward the end of kayak-thus, keeping the kayak from pulling forward off the cart. The other thing was I did was to put the cart on with a specific support in front-this kept the cart from collapsing as long as I pulled the kayak/cart forward (and made a second circumference rope not necessary. The tires of the cart went flat (the carts were 9 years old). Replacement wheels were expensive so I bought this one (three of them). These carts are very good. The construction is sturdy and they roll nicely. Wheels will not go flat. The two straps work well and make it unlikely the carts will collapse. The straps are fairly easy to put on but a little tricky to loosen (read the instructions). I still use the "2nd" rope and still put them on "directionally" so they cannot collapse when pulled forward as opposed to reverse. Three of us used these on a 1.8 mile trail. They will fall over if you go over a log, root or rock on one side and don't pay attention-but look at what you are doing and you will realize they make it sooo much easier to do a "carry". They do lie flat and can be put on your kayak mount-though I have not done that as we took ours to a lake from the road. If you center the cart well you could easily stow some gear in the kayak (camping/fishing gear?). I am very please with these carts.

This is my 3rd Kayak/Canoe cart. I have been kayaking over 20 years and recently got a 80 lb Old Town Saranac 146 Canoe. My kayak cart had small plastic wheels and only sits at the edge of the canoe, it worked ok but the canoe was still heavy, I had a hard time strapping it to the canoe, and it would move around when I went over rocks. My father in-law bought a kayak/canoe cart similar to this one at Dicks for his kayak and I asked if I can borrow it to see If I should purchase that one instead of the one I already owned. His cart is identical to this Bonnlo one or the competitor one on Amazon except the straps are not ratchets and the wheels are the inflated kind. Let me tell you, the wheels, the ratchets, and the quality of this cart is so much nicer and this cart is $30 dollars cheaper than the one he bought. I have to go down a steep hill, over a rocky beach parking lot and over a bump to get my Canoe into the water. This cart performed so much nicer than the similar one from Dicks. I had both this one and the one he let me borrow strapped under the middle of the Canoe, this one was much easier to pull and push. Pushing is probably easier to be honest, especially when you have to go up hill on the way back like me. I don't know why but it was not as heavy, these wheels do not provide the resistance like the competitor one did. I am very happy with this purchase and wish I bough it sooner. Again, this was much easier to push, somehow the weight was greatly reduced, it did not move around when moving on rocks. To be honest, having a reliable cart like this will make me want to take it out more. Time will tell how it lasts, the ratchets are not as long as I would like and they will probably rust, but this cart works great for pulling and pushing my 80 lb Canoe down and up a steep hill, over a rocky parking lot, and bumps. Oh, it does not fold on me like some people mentioned. Only downside is that it it takes up a lot of space in the front of my Canoe, I now want the smaller version of this same Canoe for my Kayak. - Update 7/28/22; I let my father in law borrow it to see if he likes it better, he tried it and today I ordered a second cart. He said that compared to his, this one is more stable, easier to put his kayak on it, and he prefers the ratcheting straps. He will be returning the one he purchased at Dicks.

This has saved my back! We load our kayaks on this to move from the truck to the shore. I love that i can break it down and store it in my kayak rather than having to leave my kayak and go put it back in the car. Plus it makes it easy when we come back to the shore to put it back together and move everything back to the truck! It fits good, its sturdy, and it is portable in the hatch of my 12 foot kayak. Awesome!

The cart works great and makes a massive difference moving my kayak-sup hybrid to the water. My Bote brand (Aero Deus) kayak-sup inflatable hybrid is only about 40-ish pounds fully inflated but it’s awkward and a bit heavy to carry along with equipment when alone. This cart makes everything a breeze while pulling the kayak and gear to the water—nearly weightless! It’s well-made, folds down to help with easy storage and is lightweight too. The tires are a very slightly pliable plastic material. TIP: You MUST place the FRONT of your boat/sup in the same direction the kickstand is pointing, when set up, to prevent the cart from folding while in use. That info is included in the instructions but some people may miss it. It’s also best to set your boat/sup just behind the boat/sup’s center onto the cart before strapping it down. The one change I made was replacing the ratchet straps provided with cam buckle tie-down style straps which I find easier to use and just as secure. This cart definitely makes getting out on the water much easier and saves your back/shoulders from carrying heavy/awkward equipment. Great value for the money and much more reasonably priced than many other carts!

If I load/roll this on flat ground, it works great. But with a kayak, sometimes you have to walk thru some rough terrain to get to your launch point. This is a good dolly, but there isn't a great place to hook the straps thru below the kayak. All of the bars you can run the straps thru are angled, so the straps slide as the ground gets uneven. I gave up on the included straps and ended up going with a ratchet strap instead. It helped me pin the kayak to the dolly more securely to avoid tipping in transit.

I debated buying this cart I thought do I really need to spend the money. Well it was the best money I have spent. Cart so easy to assemble. I’m able to move my kayak from cottage to launch without needing assistance. I had no trouble loading kayak on to cart. I attached to back of kayak with bungee cords while paddling. I have used for a week not sure how durable, Everyone at camp thought it was a great idea.

This absolutely saves me as a solo kayaker - these wheels have been able to take me over all sorts of terrain. It does manage sand/dirt/grass over rocks/gravel better though. They disassemble nicely to fit in my kayak or car whenever needed and come with everything you need to tote your kayak to the water safely. Very sturdy.

Does what a kayak trolley should do. Nicely made. The straps supplied are awkward to put on and will rust in short time. I replaced them with the traditional cleat type strap.

Excellent, saves my back when I have a distance to go before water. Easy to dismantle and take with you for portaging. It looks just like the photo on the website. It rolls smoothly over rough ground, and the tie-down strap keeps your kayak secure. Stay on the water and out of the chiropractors'.

Cart kept collapsing what a waste of money!!!
