Great for back of TV
Using these to hold neon rope to the back of the TV. There are a few that came loose because of the curve of my TV but I used a little super glue and they are holding very well. Also, I like that there are 20 clips which is perfect for my application. Very happy with these holder clips.

Decent adhesive to hold rope light
I have a monster rope twisted around my desk i actually bent it in ways i shouldnt have lol anyways way cheaper option then 70$ mine was 20 or less i wanna say I have used countless things to keep it from #1 moving and #2 falling down (Wanna ask disclaimer here did use alcohol and wipe down everything both times even removed velcro residue after) First technique i tried was velcro was okay for about a month Second i tried vhb tape (still think the one i bought or i rushed it wouldnt stay Lastly i tried these and these if you move it or try to push it in sometimes lets one slip but the biggest problem is at the ends that has stayed perfectly with almost no problems Definitely worth the money next best method is cable ties with adhesive and those are very tough to get off after applying them (used them instead of adhesive on 2 sets of govee lights on my desk and computer monitor Sorry wasnt short and sweet but dyi projects will appreciate the not having to do it over and over and over with different methods

Not strong enough for the Rope light
One could argue that this is a review for the lights, and not for the clips. I have two neon rope lights - one indoor and one outdoor one. They didn't come with enough clips. So I ordered these to create a symmetrical Christmas tree shape, just to feel a little festive. I used the adhesives to create the shape and adhere the rope to the wall. However, the neon rope light is too strong for these clips. If you try to do any of the bends recommended in the shape references for the indoor rope light, they will pop out in no time. Sure Govee recommends that we use the screws to hold them in place, but I am not about to drill 40-50 holes in one wall for one shape. That defeats the ability to use these ropes for different shapes over time (I dont want a Christmas tree on my wall after December). Also, why are these only in white? For my outdoor light, they are odd because the outdoor strip itself is black. That's an unfortunate design gap.

I only regret not buying more!
Totally universal! I won’t name drop here- but before realizing there were so many more brands out there, I bought this neon led light rope. It came with wall mounts that required a screwdriver as small as the ones for eyeglasses! It also relied on pure force to screw this Barbie size screw into the wall and mount the light rope! Well- after doing this, I realized I didn’t like the design and was stuck with taking them out to change the design!! (Took me hours just to get it!!) so I did a little searching and found these pure joy mounts! 3m strong. Mounted and remounted just to check out a couple design ideas- less than a half hour!! These are fantastic!! Definitely need these for any trending wall lights to avoid being stuck trying to repair your walls for the next trend lol!

as described
5 Stars as they work great. Pricey for what they are and only reason for 3 star rating.

Excellent replacements for the originals
These brackets seem to hold better than the ones that came with the rope. There are extras from the shape I made, so I have spares should some loose adhesion.

They’re expensive
You need more clips than are provided with the rope lights. They give you 20 I think per long rope light. You need 30-35 if you want it to hug the corner of the walls. Otherwise it will dip and raise between clips. Buy a box for each rope just to be safe. You need a clip about every 6-8”. Also, push that clip ALL the way against the ceiling or what have you. Not just close. ALL the way against it you’ll be doing it again. It’s $20 for a box of 20 on Amazon. Laughable price but you need them and govee knows it. The good part is they stick great. They pull the paint off the wall when you take them off so be mindful of that. I’m leaving mine when I move in a couple months.

Defective
These suck the adhesive comes off the plastic and stays stuck to the wall after a few months the ones that came with the light originally are holding up better than these. I believe 3M is losing quality with shrinkflation the adhesive isn’t strong enough to stick to plastic unless the plastic surface is ruffed up first prior to application this is an example of manufacturing cutting corners for cost margins. In short I wouldn’t be buying these if I didn’t need them for my lights. Also govee should find a new supplier.

Erm
Had to use pliers to tighten the plastic as they didn’t fit my led light ( they aren’t govee) The adhesion is amazing to the point where it peels the paint right off my wall lol ah 😆. The function of it is alright it isn’t compatible with all rope lights.

Does. It stay stuck on wall for very long
Very disappointed with this product. The led light strip does not sit in clip tightly. I had to use tape to hold it in place. And after a day of being on wall most of them fell off. Even with making sure the walls were clean before installing. Do waste you’re money.

Inadequate
These are shown to work with the rope lights but they do not hold the LED light strips pictured with them well. They stick amazing but the lights fall out of the holder easily.
