My recent purchase of Optimized Retinol 2.5 Serum was the latest of many, many prior purchases I've made of the same product. I love that it's not only retinol....but also a 'suite' of other go-to face care ingredients that complement and enhance the product's effectiveness. Optimized Retinol 2.5 serum is my personal '1-stop' face care product that allowed me to see noticeable differences (reductions) in my fine lines and wrinkles ever since I first began using the product a couple years ago. I actually noticed its effectiveness after just using the 1st bottle I purchased. The texture/feel of the serum is perfect as well....it's neither too thick nor too runny.....just the right consistency to rub in. And it's one of the --- if not the --- most 'cost-effective' face care products that I've seen on the market. It's very nicely priced compared to other 'like' products. It also always amazes me how each bottle I purchase lasts wayyy longer than I think it should last, which has been a very nice added bonus. One more thing....my partner got hooked on it as well : ). I highly recommend others to give Optimized Retinol a try.

I've used other Retinol products with little or no noticeable result. I'm 72 and I had just about given up. When I saw R OPTIMIZED 2.5% Retinol I figured "OK, maybe this higher concentration is what my skin needs. I have been very consistent with the application, and the difference is very noticeable! The product has a very user friendly consistency (not runny or sticky), and absorbs easily. I use a mild exfoliant wash the following morning and my new skin cells are developing so much faster than ever before. It has been six weeks for my skin, so give it time, as the turnover time, I'm sure, has to do with your age and consistent use of the product. Great pricing drew me in at first, but these results have made me a repeat customer. My lines are almost gone, and my wrinkles are so greatly improved that 72 years old doesn't seem so bad anymore! I have been using this serum everyday at night for few days and I can see wrinkles have started lightening. I am not sure if they will completely remove it but so far serum is doing good job. Liked the product. I didn’t give 5 star because the bottle of serum is not that good and if you press it little hard then you will spill the serum

I like skincare products. I do my research before buying and I am very happy to find ones that truly work. This product smooths the skin, creates a healthy glow, and improves the appearance of lines and skin discoloration. I also have oily skin and this product is completely non-greasy. It also does not irritate the skin or cause redness like some retinol products can. I use several Optimized products and they are all great. They are also very well-priced. They perform exceptionally well and don't break the bank!

I purchased this Optimized Retinol because my Dr wanted me to try a 2.5% for my acne issues. Ive tried things like Pro Active and prescriptions around $100 plus for a small tube so I wanted a cost effective alternative. So Amazon to the rescue! I tried a few different brands on amazon but truly fell in love with the quality and consistency of the Optimized Brand. Its thicker and non oily compared to others that felt like I was clogging my pores with. At night after I wash my face, I apply a small amount to my finger tip and swirl it directly on the spots I have on my face. After about a month now much to my amazement this serum alone has cleared up some blackheads, small pimples and acne spots I've had for a while around my nose and cheek. Within 3 days, the results were very noticeable something good was happening. I feel like there's so much more benefit using this Retinol to my skin than just my acne issue. My skin felt so much more clean and firm. I love when I find a product I can keep using and this is it. OH SO HAPPY really works well. Highly recommend to try!

Haven’t had it long enough to know he well it works but from the first opening, the dropper doesn’t work… I’m having to dig the product out with one of those mini microwave spatulas that you use for make up

If healthcare is personally circumstantial, skincare perhaps is more so, but here's how my story goes. I started on the Optimized 2.5% Retinol serum 2 months ago on my 70yo guy face to help resolve deep pockmarked blemish spots that have been there for decades and were still active 8-( I wanted to clean my pores, fight bacterial cause, and for all intents and purposes erase aka wear down the blemishes. Before bed and in the AM I wash my face with Johnson and Johnson Clean & Clear Advantage 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser, liberally apply the Retinol, and it's doing just want I wanted. The first bottle was a great thick'ish serum that didn't run, the second like water running down my arm during application. I called and was advised that was due to the product encountering too much heat somewhere between production and delivery and I was graciously sent a replacement bottle which was just like the first, and they made a followup call to ensure delivery, condition, and satisfaction. Bingo, (for me) super product and wonderful customer support. Bye bye blemished face, hello clearer younger looking face 8-) Thank you Optimized!

I was skeptical because so many Retinol Serums do not perform as they should and I never yield any results from other products. This one does exactly what it is suppose to do! Well, for me anyway. The first night I used it, I let it absorb for a few minutes. As I applied my moisturizer, my skin started to slightly exfoliate the top layer of dead skin and serum did not burn or tingle my skin. This left a fresh layer of skin on top, so the moisturizer could penetrate and do its job much better while the retinol can penetrate further into the sratum corneum. This is what Retinol is suppose to do, build new collagen while helping exfoliate the top layer of skin and helping with the levels of Hyaluronic Acid to plump the outer layer of skin. Adding a vitamin C serum or moisturizer after the retinol serum will help build collagen much better and quicker. No one product is a miracle worker and results are never earth shattering. But if a product can start off the way this one did for me, then it is doing its job and I am getting some great benefits for my skin. Remember, results are subjective to each person's experience but products are not Plastic Surgery and the results are not very dramatic like surgery can be. You cannot expect surgical results with a skin care product. It just doesn't happen. I am thrilled with this product in knowing that it is doing the job it is suppose to do by seeing actual results! I highly recommend this serum!
