No, you will need to wind them. They come in their plastic package and are individually wrapped in their own plastic package. So easy to store if you don't use all of them.

Can you fly it many times?

Yes, they can be reused many times. Eventually the rubber band starts to stretch, but you can replace it as long as you don't break the plastic frame.

How do you wind these up and put in a box without them flying out?

I made a box within a box. the smaller box had a sweet treat and Birthday money taped to the inside of the box sides. I put the small box in a larger box which I had more favorite bag treats that I taped to the inside of the sides of the box. The empty space of the box I filled with different size Cricut rolled flowers I made and I was able to wind four butterflies inside the larger box. The rolled flowers prevented the butterflies to stay winded until the person opening the box lift the lid and the sides fall down and the butterflies flew out. If you don't have a Cricut to make rolled flowers you can use silk flowers from Dollar Tree.
