Great item! A bit spendy but good quality and taste. I use it to make ginger garlic miso compound butter, which is a great addition to Asian food

For a quick miso soup with veg broth add thin sliced mushrooms and green onions - very tasty

This miso is full-bodied, the aroma is beautiful and the flavor of malt and fermentation enters your nose and palate right away. So it's my fault entirely for not scrutinizing the type of miso this is. It is sweet (not overpowering in any way, but I prefer it as a soup, and do not care for the sweetness).I would not hesitate to try another type of miso from this company. The miso is a gorgeous, pure paste. Very, very fresh.

This paste is delicious and easy to cook with. It makes a yummy miso broth and it goes well with other broths. It’s my favorite to add to chicken broth for my dumpling soup. Also delicious added to other sauces, like sesame. Keeps well in the fridge!

Good flavor. A little expensive but worth it if you like miso.
