Galaxy S7 Edge Case, Clayco [Hera Series] Full-Body Rugged Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (2016 Release) (Gold)

I wish I could give it that many because after 6 months of use and dropping it a dozen times and the dog chewing on it twice and running with it creating a rather funny video , this case is still 99% beautiful. Any scratches on the screen cover don't show when the phone is on and do not affect its usability . This is actually the best phone case I've ever seen for a smartphone. Anyone who is saying it's hard to use or that you have to press down hard aren't inserting the phone properly. Take a look at my instructions for the bottom of this review. To follow is my initial review Ok. Are you friggin KIDDING ME? A full body case with built in front cover that's responsive? YES THIS IS. UNBELIEVABLY SNUG PERFECT FIT EDGE FEATURES WORK PERFECTLY SCREEN COVER JUST LIKE GLASS - smooth COMPLETE PROTECTION TOP AND BOTTOM front face of case has HIGHER RIDGES which means your screen won't touch the ground if dropped. I tested by laying it flat upside down with a small piece of paper underneath. The paper still moved freely indicating the bumpers elevated the screen sufficiently. Why isn't anyone else making cases like this? I had a great case with added tempered glass, but it was nothing like this. THIS IS THE BEST CASE HANDS DOWN for the S7 edge...especially for the price. Hint: when assembling, FIRST drop the phone into the top (clear) part and THEN remove the hard back from the rubber, then add the rubber bottom, finally snap on the flat- hard back. The rubber on the sides is snug. You may need to nudge it around, but it results in a super snug fit. Edit on 7/26. If you're having trouble pulling down the pull-down menu from the top or the edge screen from the right just start with your thumb or finger on the case and roll it over to the screen and then pull and it works fine. Worst-case just use your index finger which also works fine. The protective benefits of this case outweighed that minor inconvenience considering I've already dropped my phone twice without a scratch. The last case I had was a Spigen which is excellent and a tempered glass cover but when I dropped it it fell face down on cement and of course those cases don't Elevate the screen off the ground and of course the tempered glass completely shattered and did its job but when I dropped the phone in this case nothing happened whatsoever and when it falls on its face the screen is elevated from the ground. Still the best case I've ever seen for a phone of any type. Just bought one from my wife's S7 Edge as well. This product only had seven feedback about eight days ago and now it's 15 today and I'm sure we'll go into the hundreds once people know what a great case this is

Great case! The SCREEN PROTECTOR fits perfectly to the phone; there is no gap or space between the screen protector and phone itself. Thus, there are no touch sensitivity issues. The BUILT-IN PORT PLUGS are a huge added bonus. The port plugs are attached to the case, and they plug into the charging port and headphone port when not in use, protecting both from dust/debris. Very clever and useful! The ACTUAL CASE is sturdy and durable, clearly well-made. It adds noticeable size to the phone (Galaxy S7 Edge), but I have petite hands and can still operate the phone single-handedly if needed. BOTTOM LINE: I have several cases for my S7 Edge, but this is *by far* my absolute favorite. Whether you're a case junky like me, or just wanting something sleek and durable, you won't be disappointed with this one.

For case that would allow me to have a screen protector. No case that I got would allow one to stay on my Edge. Eventually I broke my screen. When I got my new phone I realized I absolutely had to find a solution. After the new phone came I looked at a lot of cases, most clearly showed in reviews that they just would not work out. This is a great solution. The case itself is attractive, I got the blue and it's pretty close to the picture. It also seems nice and durable, I've dropped my phone several times and it has been just fine. The built-in screen protector is helpful, and is the reason that I got this case. The only reason I do not give it five stars is that there is the absolute very smallest amount of looseness between my screen and the protector, so that sometimes I can feel it moving slightly as I type. It's also true that the design of the case and cover makes it slightly hard to pull down the top menu on occasion. Although the back is slightly textured I still had no problem getting my ring to stick to it. However these are only slight annoyances, and the case is still well worth it. It is slightly larger then the minimalized case I was used to, but it's not enormous. Definitely a good purchase.

- I only have one critic, if you use the edge features, it's a little tough to maintain the sensitivity that a non-cased phone has. I don't use the edge features so it is a non- issue for me. - I have had an accidental drop or two, the phone is perfect fine inside of the case. It is durable and the two drops did not damage the Clayco case at all. - It's easy to clean when not on the phone, and a simple wipe down with a soft cloth works well when it is on the phone. - Oh and the plastic does get scratched up on the face of the phone, but it does not affect the ability to see the screen underneath it at all. You only notice the scratches when the screen is off. I am about to purchase my 3rd case exactly like this, only because I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I don't like the scratches. - The rubber covers for the charging port and the headphone jack are very durable. They have lasted the test of time and multiple opening and closings of them. - If you need to remove the case, might I recommend using the lid of the Bic pen. Everyone has one of those right? Or a smaller sized paperclip. It's hard the first time you do it, only because you haven't done it before. - I love this case!! :-)

I am a klutz. I drop everything, plus have pretty extensive nerve damage in my hands to boot . I used to have a hard case so it was time after a ' Whoops, phone hit the cement ' ordeal. I love this case. It is sturdy . The rose color is very sharp. Once it is on it is a bit difficult to get off , yet that makes me feel more confident it will protect my phone. So far I spilled a drink on it , phone was fine. I dropped it , not a scratch. I see other reviews mention it is difficult to pull the option menu down. It is maybe the first two times, then it is fine. I have no problem with the touch on my phone as some mention. I haven't found any issues with it scratching easily , however , I make sure to keep it in a pocket in my purse that is soft. The only con I found is the volume button[s] are a bit difficult to navigate with the case. Again though something that makes me feel it is more protective.

I don't want to give the impression from my 3 star review that this is not a "good" case. It does everything it advertises and offers good protection. Pros - Great protection - Well made, good construction quality - Looks nice and professional Cons - Renders fingerprint reader almost unusable. This is partly the fault of Samsung who went with a rectangle pickup on the button instead of the much better round reader that Google and LG use. - Cannot pull from the top to access notifications at all (very frustrating for me personally) - Makes typing very difficult. I have completely switched to Swipe typing as standard takes 3x longer with the screen cover to accurately register the clicks. - Cannot get the screenshot feature to work with the screen protector. In conclusion this is not a bad case for a child, teenager, or family member that has a sorted history of phone accidents and you don't want to shell out the extra cash for an OtterBox or LifeProof case. As far as a day to day case for the heavy phone user, I do not recommend it as the loss of functionality will cause you to want to throw your phone and hope the case protection holds up to intentional destruction from frustration.

I read a lot of reviews both good and bad before purchasing this case. I really like this case it is not too bulky but protective. The headphone jack and charger port are easily accessible and the buttons on the side are easy to push. I have had no problems using my fingerprint scanner or the dropdown menu. Also the edge menus has not been a problem to access however I never did use it much. The screen protector does have a small amount of bounce back however it does not affect typing ability with swipe or regular keyboard. The sensitivity is not compromised. I cannot voughe for drops as I have yet to drop my phone with the case on. I also ordered a popsocket to use with the case and have had no problems with it sticking or staying in place. I would greatly reccomend this case. It is functional and nice to look at true to color I ordered the pink one. I give 5/5!

I have been using an Otterbox defender for a while now. I have numerous fast wireless charging stands and the Otterbox requires careful placement to work. This case does not require careful placement and performs flawlessly with wireless chargers. Additionally, the otterbox impacts touch screen sensitivity, this one performs much better. As others have mentioned the notifications bar is a little difficult to pull down but otherwise the touch screen works as if no case is in place. The case is slimmer and more comfortable to hold than the Otterbox case. I seldom use the holster that came with the Otterbox but would like a holster included with this case, although it was not. The Otterbox has slightly better access to the charging and headphone ports on the bottom of the phone. The Otterbox likely offers a tad bit more protection (with lots more bulk) but for most folks I think this case would be a better choice. I can't give a 4.5 so a 5 it is. For the record, I'd score the Otterbox defender as a 4.5 also due to its outstanding durability. Galaxy S7 Edge version with built in screen protector

My dogs ate the first one when it came through the letterbox. I could see however that it looked a quality product. So I ordered another and I'm not disappointed. It fits absolutely perfectly around my S7 Edge and the protection it affords the phone is superb. The built in screen protector blends in perfectly with the phones screen so much you wouldn't know it was there. I have just typed this review effortlessly using this phone case and screen protector. I would say if you dropped something directly onto the screen you would definitely risk damage. Overall the look and feel far out ways any negative reviews I have seen. One particular gripe a few people have is swiping down from the top to access the menu. I found it slightly difficult at first but after a few go's and being more gentle swiping down I now can swipe down the menu with ease. This case is well worth the money in my opinion. I use my phone constantly all day at work and have managed to slide a metal disc between the outer sleeve and rubber protective sleeve in order to use my magnetic car mount. This case ticks every box for me an excellent quality product. Just a shame I had to buy it twice because the delivery driver didn't post in my wall mounted letterbox.

Epiiic.. it looks super thick. Like even if ypu dropped your phone from really far place, it won't get damaged at all. I liked it.

Es la segunda que me compro para el mismo móvil, pues hace muy bien su función protectora ante golpes y caídas, de hecho al cambiar una por la otra mi móvil seguía como nuevo después de más de un 1 año. La pega que la parte de delante, la protección de la pantalla, esta fabricada en un plástico que se raya enseguida

なかなか売ってない7edgeのケース。ハードケースありがたいです。これのおかげで傷ひとつなく長年使用できました。劣化してしまったため他のものに買い替えましたが私のスマホを守ってくれた大切なケースです。

This case is surprisingly well made. The integrated screen protector is of good quality and fit the S7 Edge very well. The sides and the back have sufficient grip that it's not as easy to slide out of your hand. Yes, the screen sensitivity is slightly reduced and it's difficult to pull down the menu from the top of the screen. There is also slight rainbow effect on certain areas of the screen. However, these are minor issues that I am glad to work around given the full protection provided by this case. Overall, this is the best S7 Edge case I have used so far. Very satisfied!
