These are so cute. Great for beginners. They are durable.

My 8yo daughter has been wanting to learn how to sew, so we got her this sewing kit for Christmas. She loved it and was so excited to get started! We managed to get 3 done within a couple hours (with breaks, of course). And plan to finish up the last two today. The instructions were clear to follow and explain how to thread a needle, what type of stitches are used, etc. My daughter opted for the running stitch vs the whip stitch which I think was a good choice for little hands. There is plenty of the colored yarn, and I think we’ll have enough of the tan yarn if we’re careful on how much we use. We worked as a team - I held the pieces together and she stitched it all. I can see this being rather difficult for children younger than 8. I’d assume kiddos 9 and older could do this themselves. But doing it together is fairly simple and easy and my daughter really enjoyed doing them. She was so proud to show them to her Grandma yesterday. For beginners, this is a fun, easy set with all the supplies you need! I’d definitely buy again!

purchased for 9 year old who really wanted a sewing kit for Christmas. great instructions. exceptional quality. at first I thought it was a little bit expensive but the quality was good, the instructions were good, and the fun she had putting it together was amazing. good value. so fun. these have prepunched holes which is what she needed for getting a start on sewing. now she uses a regular needle and thread and makes fairies out of scraps of felt. I would definitely recommend this for the 7 - 12 year old age group. I have a 7 year old who also made a fairy but had a little bit of difficulty, however, she got the hang of it but is not quite ready for regular needle and thread.

Such a cute set! My granddaughter made 3 fairies in one sitting and was super proud of herself. They turned out so CUTE! She's 5½ and is a crafty kid and only needed minimal assistance. They give you liquid glue to attach the wings to your fairy, but we used a dot of hot glue because she was so anxious to play with them and I didnt have the heart to make her wait for the glue to dry! Pieces are precut and holes are pre-punched so it was easy for her to line everything up. The smile on her face was sooo worth it. I'm really glad we got these.

This is a wonderful item my 5 year old granddaughter loves it and was able to make the dolls by herself after a little instruction.

I buy so many crafts for my kiddo with mixed results but this one was awesome! Perfect for 5-6yo! My almost 6yo daughter still needs support with it but it was a very fun shared activity for us and she has the dexterity to do some of the sewing.
