Swiss Safe 200 Pcs First Aid Kit for Camping, Travel, Car & Survival

I purchased this kit initially for myself as I realized I didn't have a decent kit in my house anymore; my original kit was with my camping equipment out in my garage that was recently broken into and ripped off; I still have a decent kit out in my vehicle, but thought I should buy something for minor emergencies in the house. After doing much research here on Amazon, I settled on this First Aid kit, as I thought it gave the most bang for the buck. I wasn't disappointed - for the money, I think this is one of the most comprehensive personal First Aid kits I've seen; and I'm an old Eagle Scout. I thought it was such a great kit that I bought nine more to give to friends and family. The customer service provided by the vendor was second to none; in fact it was the best customer experience I've had dealing with a 3rd party vendor on Amazon! I pointed out a minor discrepancy in the product listing email that was sent after my purchase, and the vendor threw in some extras. It was absolutely the best customer service experience I've ever had on Amazon; I'm not making this up, as I'm generally pretty cynical! Swiss Safe is an awesome vendor, and has a lot of great products! I highly recommend this First Aid kit! -scoff

I don't know that much about first-aid kits, so I don't want to lead anyone astray. For context, the last time I purchased one was probably over twenty years ago. I was concerned upon first receiving it about the small size, but I think in the end this is an advantage as it is VERY lightweight and easy to shove into a backpack or even a larger purse. The kit is well-packed and very organized, which is a big deal to me. Further, the instruction manual, which should be the first thing you see when you open the pack and it is easily accessible, is simple and concise. It only took me a few minutes to read through it and then I felt confident that I could administer CPR or the Heimlich maneuver even though it had again been over twenty years since I had taken training to do those things. Lastly, the email tips are also short and clear, but they really are good tips. Thank you!

I will be buying more. If you're scouring trying to find the right first aid kit, this one is covered by fsa/hsa and contains a small survival kit as well. I bought 2. Upon opening i decided they need to be anywhere we may need one so I'll be getting more. These were thoughtfully packaged. I read reviews and looked at at least 15, and I ordered another one with more pieces and wished I had just got 3 of these. Survival blanket, sting salve, sewing kit, firestart kit and all shapes and sizes of bandages and wound care are among some of the highlights. If you have a loved one who travels at all, get this for their car. In the event they need any one item, you'll be glad you provided the safety for them and peace of mind for yourself. I'm not even affiliated, I am truly impressed by this first aid kit especially for the price.

I purchased this kit for a vehicle, and it is very compact (about the size of a large adult hand). The variety of items in this pack was great, but I would probably give it three stars as a family first aid kit. The pack does include something for stings, but other than that, there are not any medication supplies (as seen in the list of items on the kit's description). I'm not sure why a mirror & fishing kit were more important than antibiotic ointment and painkillers. I had to purchase medications separately, and I found most of the medications I wanted with the Pak-Kit and with PreparaKit's First Aid Kit Refill Bag . This Swiss Safe kit was packed fairly tight, but I was able to add a few things. Items NOT included (some more important than others) are: painkillers (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen), nasal decongestant, antihistamine & allergy meds, antacid, motion sickness meds, antibiotic ointments, burn cream, hydrocortisone cream, lip balm, or sunscreen. I was also hoping for a waterproof pack, but this at best would be water resistant. If I spill water on it, I think it would hold up to that, but if I dropped the kit in water, I do not have high hopes for its water resistance. Most of the items ARE individually bagged, so if water gets in, they may stand a chance of being salvageable. Overall, this was a decent deal for the price but needs some improvement.

I am a medical person, and this is one of the most complete first aid kits I have seen. Portable. Good value for $. Very sturdiness. Because there is alot of things in the kit...you need to keep it organized so if you need it quick, it is all there and easy to find.

Well organized first aid kit. Compact but useful items.

I like this kit because it gives me enough of the little things to help more people. I travel a lot and I'm constantly stopping on two-lane highways helping people change their tires or get their car out of soft dirt/gravel shoulders so I usually end up with some cuts and scrapes. The small bandages help keep me from staining my upholstery with blood. I also like that it fits under my seat so it does not seem like an extra item, but an upgrade to the car, along with a fire extinguisher! Thank you for offering a product with a variety of uses for an affordable price.

I served as a first responder for a few months, and I grew up with my mom who has been a paramedic for 25+ years now, I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a first aid kit with you outdoors or in your car, but finding the right kit is like picking a car, they are all different. This particular kit hits all the basic needs for a first aid kit and provides something very basic and important that is hard to find in most kits, gloves, it bothers me that most basic kits don't have them. Pros: Lightweight gloves durable bag material All essentials handy cloth scissors small bag Cons: No burn cream...closely related to burn ointment No burn ointment (burnt my self while cooking hiking and camping) All in all this really is a perfect kit, I just wish it had a small extra amount of burn cream/ointment, its a small detail that would make a huge difference for me.

Really like how complete it is. Brought it on my trip to the jungles of Siberut and helped to patch up a tribesman's feet with the first aid kit. Would definitely recommend.
