So my niece is three years old. She was too at the time and I bought this for her because she is on the go go go go go go nonstop. She has autism high functioning with a little bit of everything whenever she travels because she can look at some pictures fidget and then feel how wonderfully soft it is. I also bought another one because I absolutely loved it for my mother-in-law who has and she loves to look at her pictures and it helps with her coordination of her hands to be able to eat because of all the little fidgety things in there it also keeps her still a lot longer Less wandering

This very portable activity blanket bag has many nice features. I gave it to my mom who has dementia. It is a challenge to find things she can still do, and be interested in. She was very interested in it from the beginning. She ran her hands over the very plush, soft cover and smiled as though she liked the feel of it. She enjoyed zipping and unzipping the zipper that goes all the way around the bag, as well as trying the other activities inside. One thing she really liked was pulling out the family photos inside the photo sleeves. I printed out many photos, trimmed so they would fit inside the slots, and laminated them so they would last. Each slot can hold more than one photo, which is nice. I say this is a win! It would also appeal, I am sure, to children.

I got it for my 87 yo grandma. She is a dementia patient. She liked the lace immediately and is the activity she uses the most. She also likes the different textures, including the soft fluffy cover. I think she likes the pictures too, although she cannot recognize people at this point. The -1 star is due to a button falling off the "shirt". That's a chocking hazard. We removed all of them as a precaution.

If you have a loved one struggling with dementia, this is a great addition to challenge them to do hands on activity.

This is the perfect thing for my mother who is in memory care. Outside it appears very adult and inside it has activities and places for pictures. It is a well made high quality item and totally worth every penny.

I got this for my mom with moderate dementia who always has to do something with her hands. I loved the soft purse look to it and the picture pouches and pockets. Unfortunately two of the picture sleeves ripped down the sides and the zipper that closes it and the one that zips the back pocket just don't work well. I can barely zip them myself. One of the 1st page fasteners pulled right out of the book almost immediately after mom fiddled with it. It's such a nice design, but the quality of it is poor. I gave it 3 stars because it was a great concept, it just didn't hold up.

Got this for my mother who has sensory issues now that she's in the later stages of dementia. It's portable like a bag, briefcase or purse. Colorful but not as childlike as the other sensory items we've purchased for her so she takes to it more. She can spend a good hr or two sitting with it which is great. Happy to see her engaged and actively doing something with her hands. The photo pockets are nice and we rotate photos and flash cards with our family names on them. Def recommend purchasing if you are hesitant.
