Good purchase for the price. Small footprint and very stable!
Great for the price and for a small apartment, or even just as a climbing/jump off to other catwalks. It fit exactly where I needed it, and the tension on the rod is strong, with a good sized plate to dissipate the pressure on the ceiling. I have a couple plus sized cats, and it wiggles a bit if they play fight, but does not budge. Would have liked sisal or rope on the vertical tubes, but for the price, I can add that later after they shred the low pile carpet. I added the disco ball for fun!! 3 out of 4 cats recommend...but #4 is a grumpy old man.

Cat is in love!
My cat absolutely loves this thing! It moves a little bit, but not enough to actually fall, just scares you at first lol.

Decent. I don't regret it.
I'm getting rid of a chair my cat likes to perch on, which means there won't be many places she can climb up onto. Enter the cat tree. I got this one because it's more vertical and not so wide and that helps with space. It's was easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy. It does wiggle a little as others have pointed out, but as long as there is some tension provided by the ceiling it doesn't feel like it's going to tip over randomly any time soon (even with a cat racing up it). It's just a spring at the top that pushes in for the tension, whether that's any better than a twisting tension rod like a shower curtain is still up for question. We'll see how it goes. My cat already loves it. It's much higher than the chair back she would sit on previously, and it gives her a sense of superiority when she looks down from upon high. The only thing is, she isn't confident on getting down from the top platform. She's never had anything that tall before where she has to climb/jump down head first and seems a little confused. I've had to help her a couple of times, but she'll figure it out eventually. But that's more cat-error than it is a product one. In fact, each shelf has some screw locations underneath so you can customize it later with more things if you want to.

Well engineered
The thing about reviews is, they typically are from our initial impressions about an item, the excitement of something new. This review is one of those but, I don't write reviews unless I believe in a product and even then I wait for a couple months to see if the quality is still good but, in this case, I'm very pleased. I've purchased a couple of this style of cat climbing post over the past few years from other brands and, they didn't last or were cheaply manufactured. The first thing I noticed about this climbing post is how thick the platforms are, the size of the platforms and how well attached the felt type carpeting is. It was easy to assemble, everything I needed was included and it was very simple to assemble. There are 2 reasons why I'm giving a good initial review, 1. I bought this for a very cheap price. 2. It is extremely stable and well made (considered it's materials and price point) Of all the different brands of this exact style of cat post, I would favorably recommend this one over any others on Amazon. Both my cats, one is 6lbs and the other is 12lbs, climb up on this and love sitting comfortably to look out the window.

Cats love it, not great quality
My cats ADORE this thing. Put it up in front of a patio door and it’s great for bird watching. My biggest complaint is that after only a couple months it’s already falling apart from the constant up and down. My cats are only 11 lbs each and this thing is already torn apart. The small, asymmetrical platforms don’t lend themselves well to the stability of the tree itself and the coverings on the pole parts don’t attach well. I have to constantly screw the pieces back together and re-adjust the tree so it doesn’t fall over. You get what you pay for but expect to replace it after a while!

It’s great
Easy to put up, the cats love it, it’s decent quality for what it is. We would buy again

My cat loves it so who cares what I think
My cat loves this. While it's a bit wobbly, it doesn't seem wobbly to the point of falling over. And she's an aggressive climber. So aggressive that she managed to rip out one of her nails and cost me $700 at the vet. Am I blaming the cat tree? Honestly I'm blaming the cat :D She could have ripped her nail out on anything. She's healing up fine, possibly learned a lesson, and still loves the cat tree, so it's not going anywhere. I do wish it had more of that jute material, the cat scratching surface, than just the carpet, but I've actually added some myself (IKEA has some strips that are meant to stick to furniture, and I just wrapped some around the top sections -- you can see in the pic that it doesn't even fit entirely, but it's serving its purpose).

Two different towers plus broke in less than 1.5 years
We purchased this tension rod cat tower back in November of 2022. When we first purchased it, we chose the "Charcoal" color but received a brown tower instead. We were a little annoyed since everything else we'd purchased for our cat at that time was gray, so we tried purchasing a second one in a different color and did receive a gray one, however it was like a completely different product. The packaging was completely different, as were the instructions. This could have just been an update to the product packaging, except that the parts were completely different as well. The poles of the gray one were thinner and shorter. It didn't reach the ceiling like the brown one did, and the included "extension" pole made it too tall. The carpet on one of the tower pieces was already falling off as well. We returned the gray tower and ended up keeping the brown one, which our cat loved for the past year and several months. It would slide around on the ceiling and floor a little and have to be readjusted every week or so, but it never moved so much that it fell completely. After about a year, we noticed that the second to the top junction was tilting a lot more when she jumped onto it, creating a sharp angle when pressure was applied. We disassembled and reassembled the tower and it seemed to be fine. Then the other day (late March 2024) we noticed it doing it again. This time we were able to see that the plastic housing the screw had become disconnected along one side and was popping out when pressure was applied, as seen in the close-up image. We tried applying gorilla glue along the side and seam of the plastic part, but by the next morning it was popped back out again. This feels too unsafe to continue letting our cat use, so we have purchased a replacement tower. Overall, despite how much our cat has enjoyed this tower, it was a hassle for us from the very beginning. It is relatively easy to put together, though more so with two people to keep the platforms steady as screwing in each piece takes a lot of turns, and once assembled it was decently sturdy; but the issues we had with getting the wrong color, then the first replacement being a completely different product, and now finally the break caused this to be more trouble than it was worth. If it had lasted a few more years it would be a different story, but for a household with only one relatively small cat (10 pounds), it just doesn't hold up.

Perfect
The height is perfect for my beam ceiling. U dont have to cut off the rod to adjust and simply push the rod down the top spring to fit your ceiling. Easy to assemble for someone whos not handy.

Good but short
The quality is excellent, but unfortunately too short for my high ceiling. You can easily shorten it, but making higher is not possible. Requires doing it yourself… Had to return with regret.

Nice cat tree for a room with 9’ ceilings!
This cat tree was easy to assemble, fit perfect in our living room with a 9’ ceiling and took very little space. It was a little shaky but secure enough so it wouldn’t tip. I ended up selling it as my finicky cat wouldn’t use it Lol. Not sure how the carpet covering would hold up as I never got the chance to see it used.

It’s look beautiful but,
It’s unstable tree for small cats and big cats although I love how it’s look and ,but it can fall anytime.
