All features as described. Nice height adjustment, timer works fine. My only complain would be the color of the light. The pictures show more like a warm-yellow light, but definitely is a white-fluorescent light.

Will not work with smart plugs. It requires you to press the on switch on the built in controller on the wire again when you switch it on making it useless with smart plugs. Haven't seen much growth with it either.

Fantastic little light. Great value. You preset the number of hours you want it on...it acts accordingly. Plus it's really cute! Also you choose your height. Love it...am going to buy more.

comment update: after unplugging and plugging the lights, timer started working again. Lights work well. But timer stopped working 40 days after purchase. If the timer is not an important feature for you, then lights are ok.

I wrote a 5-star review in 2023 when I bought 3 of these. Appearance - 5 stars. Flexibility - 5 stars. stability - stars. Growth assist for plants - 5 stars - excellent. All plants love this light. Since there was no guidance as to brightness, light time, light hue, or plant distance from light, I used trial and error. All great. But as I wrote about in my first review and as others have mentioned, the timer does not work properly; it is set then comes on a bit earlier each day until it comes on at 5am and wakes you up. And I find it a pain to turn it on and off manually - I cannot get consistency. What would solve that issue cheaply and easily is if the light would stay on when turned on so you could use it with a separate (reliable) timer. Unfortunately, using a separate timer is not possible. It turns off when disconnected from the socket but doesn't come on when plugged in again. It stays off until you manually turn it on. Finally, after 2 years of constant use, one of the 3 I bought stopped working. I will replace it with another one (because my plants have thrived under the light) and hold my breath for the other 2 to call it quits.

I bought the smaller version of this light in 2025. I had some issues with it right out of the box. Contacted the seller and they were very helpful and sent a new light immediately. That one worked flawlessly and my smaller plants thrived. In light of their customer service and the performance of the replacement, I bought this larger version for my larger Money Tree. The money tree was very happy to have the added light. However, the small one that I purchased first is now malfunctioning. The timer function is not working properly. I am a little concerned because this light has the same control. Hopefully it will not experience the same fate as the smaller one. I’m looking at replacing the smaller one and most likely I will try a different brand like sensi. I’m sorry that it seems like there may be a reliability issue but time will tell with the larger one.
