Does stirring the splashed water cause a short circuit?

This overhead lab stirrer cannot cause a short circuit if there are splashed water.

What is the hole diameter of shaft opening on motor (Largest shaft diameter the drill bit will be able to hold)?

Thanks for your question, the hold diameter of shaft is 10mm, it can hold max. 10mm stirrer shaft, if used 10mm diameter shaft, it cannot go through the hold. Our standard stirrer shaft is 8mm which also can go through the hole :)

What is the diameter of the stirring blades?

The stirring blade is small, I purchased a different one that has a larger circumference.

can this mixer be used for rice paste?

That would depend on the viscosity. This mixer does have good torque...I would say that if your material can be called a thick liquid, can be poured out of a tub or bottle, then this mixer will mix it well. If your material is like toothpaste or mayonnaise, then you need a different type of mixer.
